Refrigerator compressor buzzed like an alarm clock every night. Front door sound-proofing inadequate to keep out outer noise like slamming doors or loud tenants and could hear tenants upstairs thumping around.

Shower curtain unreasonably short, resulting in a puddled bathroom floor after every shower on which one could either easily slip and fall when exiting the shower or get electrocuted using a hairdryer. Had to mop with towels after every shower. If you have a bad back, you also might find the beds here may aggravate that.

On the plus side, the desk and hotel staff were extremely courteous, Beach access as represented was fine. Rooms are extremely clean. WiFi and internet access is also plus with no dropout in the room. Breakfast and 24-7 coffee better than average. Bistro food was tasty and service prompt, but a bit overpriced for the sort of fare they offer.

Room Tip: Don't use Expedia. Deal with the hotel directly to avoid preference discrepancies like "Oceanside view", which actually occurred. The hotel compromised by giving me a 4th story room with an indirect ocean view, as there were no ocean-view rooms available at check-in. Also, the higher up you are, the quieter the rooms become because you are further away from the pool and fewer tenants are above you.

Check in was very quick and efficient. The room was very clean. Our first comment was it smelled like fresh clean laundry. Our room was 716 and it had a beautiful ocean view even though you have to look over a few small houses. We had 2 queen beds and they were very comfortable. (I have a bad back too) Flat screen TV with a good amount of channels. Larger than average fridge which was great. The fridge, microwave, coffee area was very nice and saved space. The private balcony with chairs was great! The free breakfast was decent. Belgian waffle machines, eggs, hash browns, yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins, pastries, OJ, Apple Juice, Coffee and free cookies at the front desk. The only complaints would be the room doors slam very loudly, the room entrances are not indoors which is why I think it is so loud, and the bathrooms need a update. We loved that it was just down the street from Ron Jon's and there is a small restaurant there called the Shark Pit that had AWESOME food! I recommend the Mac and Cheese Hamburger with bacon SO GOOD!! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room at least on the 5th floor or higher to have the best ocean view and minimal noise from the outside.

The hotel is clean and bright with the rooms well furnished. Free WiFi is available in the rooms. The included breakfast is typical of this category of hotel which is to say it was fine. The hotel is well located in Cocoa Beach within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants and the world famous RonJon Surf Shop.

The hotel has a decent location but very old and overpriced for the quality. Room was dirty and very stinky. The pool was very dirty even had trash floating around. Short walk to the beach staff was friendly but We will not stay here again.

Dear Matkins79,

I apologize for your disappointing experience. I am very concerned that we did not live up to your expectations. It is through comments such as yours that we improve and I appreciate you taking the time to write. We typically receive very good comments about our pool area and we recently re-surfaced the deck, so it is especially concerning. I will share your comments with our staff and we will re-double our efforts to uphold our commitment of exceeding guest expectations every day.
Thanks again,
Tom Williamson,
General Manager
