Continuing their 3-generation history of creative, tasty contributions to gulf-side Florida culinary art, the Lovel family began seeding oysters at nearby Alligator Point in 2012. Their first harvest has yielded the tastiest oysters this side of the Swan Oyster Depot in San Francisco. Petite, fresh, light, saltier than Apalachicola oysters in general, these delicate morsels are best appreciated with only a splash of lemon. Save the sauces for other dishes.
