This location is seriously cursed. When I first came to the county it was The Forgotten coast and it was pretty dang good! Since then there have been 3 restaurants... this being the third. All have been awful. Poor quality for a big price! Salad bar is a nice touch and it was ok but it still cannot cut it. I guess it's ok for the AARP crowd looking for a mediocre seafood dinner. I need something fresh!

Change do ownership and name.. Now called Family Coastal Restaurant, same ownership as the Sopchoppy and Sumatra restaurants.

I had the Surf & Turf, what a chunk of steak..cooked to perfection, no unnecessary seasonings added, just a bit of salt and pepper. I haven't had a steak that good in a restaurant around here in a while if ever. The surf was lightly breaded fried shrimp included 2 sides, (they also have a salad bar - nice for this small town) price was a reasonable considering the amount of food that was served. Yes, doggie bag needed (no the dogs are not getting these leftovers).

We were there for lunch. Great lunch choices, prepared well, and a nice presentation. We had seafood. The Mahi Mahi was great. Also, we tried Nana's caramel pudding and key lime pie-both were awesome!

Do not let the name put you off...this is a great little restaurant right on Hwy 319 in Crawfordville FL.

They have a decent $9.99 mini-seafood platter. The hushpuppies are good enough to order by themselves - and I have seen people come in and do just that. The green beans are excellent. My sister said she did not like green beans - she tried these and ate the entire serving. The zucchini is also wonderful.

Have eaten there several times. The hamburgers are big, juicy and filling. French fries are very good. Shrimp sandwich is full of shrimp. The mashed potatoes are awesome.

The desserts are good and all under $4.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a good value. Casual atmosphere.
