If you happen to be in Dade City ( a small working town) then this restaurant is a must. It is an inexpensive casual family mexican restaurant run by really lovely welcoming people. The walls are adorned with mexican murals and artefacts. Lots of room and big windows. Diners were a mixture of hispanic and white. We had "breakfast" at lunch time - the breakfast burrito and breakfast enchilada. both were better than most mexican food you get in mexican chains or independents. one came with beans and gorgeous potatoes/onions/peppers and the other with vegetable rice and guacamole, pico de gallo (tomato/lettuce..) . It was all cooked fresh and came with a huge bowl of superior tortilla chips and dip. All for $5 and $6 dollars per person!! Unbelievable. The kitchen also does takeaways and is sited in the middle of a general store so you can go and see your food being cooked. Even if you do not eat the store is a must visit. More unusual ingredients than I saw in the rest of mainstream florida e.g. diced cactus, fresh breads, sweet sopapillas, tomatillos and a whole host of vegetables I had never seen before. Fantastic experience. We had looked at a couple of other cafes in downtown - thank goodness we came here instead.
