Bed and pillows pretty good esp couple of softer pillows which I like
Got in off flight late , past midnight, to 11th floor room and hammering on 12th floor started about 0850L, oh well time to get up anyway
Desk chair fabric cracked and worn
Breakfast Buffet was below avg, cold plates, food ice cold by the time you get back to seat. Fruit was sub par, but fresh squeezed OJ. Staff was pleasant.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for 3 nights before departing on a cruise from Port Everglades. The hotel is conveniently located within 5-10 minutes from FLL and Port Everglades. We took the free hotel shuttle from the airport and were greeted by friendly staff at front desk. The room and the bathroom are a little dated, but were clean. The walls are a thin and we could hear other loud guests as they walked down the hallway. The hotel gym is conveniently open 24/7. Restaurant food is reasonably priced and tasteful. We enjoyed that the property is smoke free, unlike the smelly Hilton across the street. We will definitely stay again before another cruise vacation.

First, I have high regards for SPG since I have been a member for many years. I have found recently that Starwood properties are starting to get a little run down and have been staying more at Hilton brands. This Sheraton was gross to be honest. We only stayed one night but the room was very outdated and appeared they haven't vacuumed the floors for quite some time. It also smelled "old" which was strange. Also, it's right along I-95 which was very loud at night if you stay at that end of the hotel.

One positive note was free parking for SPG members. I'm not sure if that is always the case or if it was because we used points for a free night but that was a nice touch that I was not expecting. I don't know why they don't offer free parking to all guests though since the lot is definitely large enough to handle guests.

Room Tip: Get a room away from I-95 as it's loud so don't expect to get much sleep if you are a light...

The name of the hotel says it all, basically it's for a quick stay between going to the airport or cruise port. Arrived pretty late at night around 11 from the east coast. We were hoping to get a meal but the restaurant was already closing down. Ended up going to the SPG lounge and getting some chips and granola bars to hold us over. And the lounge looks to be a converted room. Hard to find and really nothing inside to make it lounge worthy.

The room we had was a double but it was a really tight room. On top of which with a rolling bed there was no place to walk. Room size pretty small for families. Interiors were showing age. Did i mention it was small.

If i had to come back being an SPG member I would but yes just a transfer type of hotel. Check out other reviews for more details but I would agree in general.

Room Tip: It's right off the freeway so if you can get a room not facing the freeway that helps

We were taking a red eye flight arriving at six in the morning. To make sure we had a room available without having to wait until 3 pm check in, we booked the previous day as well. We also called the hotel direct a few days before to let them know we would we arriving very late and to make sure they would hold the room. No problem we were told....the room would be held since we had paid for it.

When we arrived we were informed the hotel had been sold out and our room was not available. Also told even if we arrived in the evening of the previous day we would have been "walked" to another hotel.

After a two hour wait, a room was made ready for us. To top everything off, there were two false fire alarms made during the night that completely ruined our sleep. Never again at the Sheraton!

Room stinks as well as the pillows. The explanation from the front desk is that the carpet was changed recently...
No free wifi, instead USD 10 per day charged.
No free parking! USD 15 charged per day. First time ever that I have been charged for parking as a guest at any hotel.
No minibar or safe in the room.
Will I stay again in this hotel? No.

After getting stranded by Jet Blue in Ft Lauderdale. We called this hotel at midnight. Asked if they had a stranded travelers rate like some other hotels, and the answer was NO. $176. Said fine, and how long for the shuttle to pick us up at Terminal 3. They told us in a minute or two our shuttle is just about there. We waited over 30 minutes. Still no shuttle. Called again, and they said it usually takes 15-20 minutes, be patient. We were being patient but after being told a few minutes, and not showing up when they said, it became a problem...10 minutes later they finally showed up.

Checked in to the hotel and went to the room. The room was small but adequate. It seemed clean, but worn out. Turned on my computer to find out a password is needed for the wifi. Called front desk they gave me the password, then I find out that it is $10 for internet???

The next morning we ask if they have a breakfast of any type and they YES. $10 for a "continental" breakfast. We laughed.

This place is about at the level of a days inn. However it charges as if it was the Marriot. Not worth it, and will not stay here again.
