We had a great time playing here during our family vacation. We were staying in villas just down the street from the course. The greens were in great shape and the course was very open for the terrible golf most of the family plays. The value was incredible, $25 after 3pm. If you can stand the heat it is an outstanding value. We will definitely return play more rounds on future vacations.

We have stayed in Highlands Reserve on two occasions, in May/June 2011 and May/June 2013. We resided in two different properties on each visit, once privately booked through a friend of a friend and on the second occasion via Thomson.

Both villas were well proportioned with a private pool, huge bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. There were play tables in the garages and the properties on the estate are obviously well cared for with one of the letting agents actually living opposite our rental property.

The resort is about 15 - 20 mins drive from Disneyworld and about 30 mins drive from SeaWorld. There is a shopping complex about a 2 minute drive away which has a Publix supermarket, a pharmacy, an Applebys restaurant, a British bar and various takeaway outlets.

We are looking to go to Florida again next year and will almost certainly be staying at HIghlands reserve for the third time.

When we stayed here we knew that we were in for a treat, a luxurious 4 bed villa with pool and jacuzzi. The house was extremely upto date on Northampton drive, modern equities and a large double garage! We were surprised to see a gardener every day touching up the flowers!

Very close drive to amenities and all Disney parks!

Stayed here in 2006. One of the best holidays I've had. Villas were large and very clean and tidy. Excellent kitchen facilities and had a TV. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean with excellent showers and baths.
Every villa had its own pool which was fantastic after long, hot days in the parks and shops!
The villas were close to all the attractions and shops - you were never far away from anything.

We are a family of 5 who have just returned from our first holiday in florida. It started on a high flying the new Dreamliner, very impressed, lots of games & movies to entertain the kids. We flew into Sanford which was so quiet. Had to wait a while to pick up our information pack & hire car but it really wasn't too much of a problem. We drove down to highlands reserve with relative ease & arrived at Higher Combe Drive. First impression was of a quite well kept resort with villas of various sizes. The 3 bed villa we had was perfect. Very clean & tidy with a lovely pool & an outlook onto the golf course. Our nearest neighbours were 3 villas away. There was a local supermarket, gas station and restaurant 10mins walk away. Driving back to disney took about 20mins and universal 40. The road network was pretty easy to fathom. We ate at various restaurants, Applebee's, Logan's, Ponderosa, all good value and situated along the route between us and disney. We took a drive over to Clearwater, a beautiful beach that stretched for miles. We went to both outlet malls on international drive but found more bargains in the Mallenia malls, more designer shops but with very good sales. We wouldn't recommend Pointe orlando on int. drive, a waste of time, only decent shop there is hollister. Very handy having our own washer & driver, didn't need to bring any washing home with me. Also not an inconvenience to make sure the rubbish went out for collection or stripping the beds and putting them and the towels in the washer before be left. Even though we had to vacate the villa by 10am we thought we'd spend our last day in one of the parks as we didn't fly home until 8.00pm but upon reading the small print on the car hire info we had to have the car back at the airport by 3.30pm. So it was a bit of a wasted day & meant lots of waiting around in the airport. We would highly recommend highlands reserve and have come home ready to start saving for our return there.

Excellent Place, My family and I have stopped here twice, both times were great.
Highlands Reserve has many to let properties, a small shopping area just outside, and obviously a golf course. Both houses we stopped in were first class.

Its about 20 minutes away from Disney and about 30 minutes from Universal both easily accessible via the I4 or 192. The shopping area has a publix, liquor store and few takeaways (the indian is very expensive) and an applebee's restaurant. I would recommend going a little further down highway 27 to go to a large walmart as the prices are considerably cheaper than publix.

The golf course is nice, and the staff at venue were very helpful, the rental clubs were excellent clubs, not cheap rubbish you amy find on other courses. I would suggest buying balls from walmart though as they were quite expensive at the pro shop.

All round an excellent place, nice and quiet if you want to relax, but only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle if that's what you would like.
