yes, we're close to Disney & universal & yes they have transport. but that isn't why we're here.
just needed a place to stop for the night in our RV. the spaces are too close together & no trees. the only good thing is the firepit, oh did I mention it's 95 degrees. the pool looks nice & is heated. overall it was just off the 27 & we can be on our way in the morning. bottom line at $50 a night,
way too much.

Room Tip: this is what you're going to pay in this area.

I'm currently at KOA now, staying in a Kabin, and love it. The campground is mostly vacant, but then this is summer in Florida and I enjoy the quiet. It is conveniently located at I-4 and US 27 with several restaurants nearby and about twelve miles from WDW. The facilities are clean and I practically have the bathroom to myself. While I prefer to drive to the attractions myself, a daily shuttle is available. While it is definitely not Disney's Fort Wilderness, it is a great alternative to "kamping" in the Central Florida area at a great value in a comfortable place!

During my week stay here, I found the Campground to be very well maintained, including Laundry, Game Room, and Pool. I made 3 trips to Walt Disney World via the Free Shuttle Service provided (who I might add we wonderful and prompt). The staff were all courteous and friendly and the on ground store was well equipped with several items. The location is ideal, close to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. There are plenty of shopping areas including the Pencomb Plaza across the street.Located right off I4. If coming in North off 27, it was a bit difficult to find at first, but this was due to the fact that my Garmin wanted me to enter on Frontage Road, which is the address...but it was necessary to do a U-turn because of the road. Turn in at the light by the Bob Evans if you are coming in that route.

Just this summer we have stayed in a dozen KOAs. We stay exclusively in the Kamping Kabins. Our experiences have been mostly favorable as was this one. The location is ideal if going to Walt Disney World. The cabins were a little dated. The one we stayed in had a pitched roof unlike the gambrel (barn) style we have come to expect. This makes the upper bunk very tight for anyone except a small child. The shower facilities were close and clean with adequate water pressue. The only major negative we noted was an overflowing garbage can in the camp kitchen. We took out the trash and cleaned the kitchen. We typically do that anyway but the abundance of garbage indicated some level of neglect on the part of the staff.

Overall, it was was a good experience.

Room Tip: Ask for the barn styled unit if you need more room.

After staying in another poor KOA I was not looking forward to arriving at this park! But it was great! The staff where all very friendly and escorted us to our ite and made sure we hooked up ok, this was a great touch. The shop was well stocked and had all the essentials that you could need. The pool was a good size and clean and tidy! The site even has an exersice room with basic equipment. There is a pool table and games machines if you want them. The free shuttle service to the parks seemed popular. The site was very quiet and well located to the interstate

We stayed in one of the "cabins" while exploring the area. We had a party of 5 (3 adults/2 kids) and the cabin was a little tight but worked well for our needs. It was nice to have a small kitchen to prepare meals but there was no stove and a 1/2 size fridge. The pool was large and clean. The staff was nice. The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet for being right off the interstate. It was better than being in a hotel!

We camped here with our 10 yr old while shopping in area for RV. Folks at front desk were friendly and store had basic essentials. Lots on slopes but easy to level. Not alot of trees and lots were decent size. Location perfect for taking advantage of Disney. Busch Gardens, Universal and Gatorland were short jaunts. Liked this KOA enough to ask Tripadvisor to add to listing so we could review. Will stay here again as we come to Disney annually.
