A great place to spend some time before going on Griffin out west to rte. 27 to visit the alligators via airboat tour. The peacocks and trees are awesome. Families with small children will be delighted with this spot. Older children may find the caged animals a little disturbing. However, the grounds are lush and green...

Flamingo Gardens has many acres of land filled with animals. From aligators to butterflies they have hundreds of lizards, birds and other oddities hardly seen except in other parks. If you are in Broward County touristing about, this a great half day not to far from I-595.

A great place to tour & learn. The selection of plants & flowers was fantastic. We took a tram tour where we were educated about all the plants, trees & flowers. Then a trip to the Aviary and viewed & learned about birds. A walk to the wildlife was next with: falmingos, alligators, black bear, otters, turtles, and many more to see. Truly a great way to spend the day.

What a terrific stop! Flamingos and lots of other animals (including a black bear and a Florida cougar...who knew?) indigenous to Florida. Well laid out, nice tour if you want to buy it or just spend the afternoon walking. Peacocks roam free along with lots of other birds. You're visiting them and they know it.

Bring the kids and make a day of it...or at least a long afternoon. I had a great time.

Nice peaceful place to visit. Great place to see some of Florida's wildlife and botantical gardens. Highly recommend taking the tram ride out through the back 50 acres. Very interesting. The Wray family home was an interesting piece of history. Peacocks loved to pose for the camera. Lovely park setting and a nice gift shop.
