After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, me and my buddy decided to go. We expected at least descent italian food, but what we reccieved was just terrible! Not italian food at all.
We orderd pasta carbonara and spaghetti with (2)meat(foot)balls. Both of the dishes was overcooked and had more sauce than pasta. Usually i love plenty of sauce, but this sauce tasted weird. Like something you buy on a gas station, and toss in the microwave.
The service was good enough. Maybe a bit overwhelming/desperate, but all together nice.
I will probably never eat here again, unless they facelift location, food and menu.

Im not trying to be mean, but i really dont understand how you get so many good reviews.

After all, you seem like a nice family with potential:)

My family and I recently visited Don Vito's in the last day and it was fantastic. We had the sausage pasta, veal marsala and the ravioli and meatball and the tomato sauce was perfection, as was the marsala sauce. The atmosphere that the owner's create makes anyone who comes in there feel like family. If you ever visit Daytona Beach or live in the area, you have to go and try one of their delicious entrees and homemade bread. Overall one of the best restaurants that I have ever been too. We will definitely be coming back next year when we travel here again.
