If you are picky for oysters you might want to just go to Hulls Seafood Company in Ormand otherwise this is likely the best you'll do but that's not an endorsement. The lunch menu items are good the service is attentive and there is a nice selection of food. If you look around there are coupons floating around in some hotels for a free draft beer they are yellow and r small ticket sizes good choice for casual lunch

I will start with the good (or ok) things about the place: Standard beer selection with good prices. The appetizers are your standard bar food aps (nachos, cheese sticks, wings, etc) but they are pretty good. There are a ton of TVs with all the sports packages; so no matter where you are from, your game will be on. Overall, it's a great place to go watch the game and hang out with friends.

Now for the bad: Before we went to Daytona we saw numerous reviews for OP and everyone raved about the food (Oysters mainly). We went there for dinner one night and were far less than impressed. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and Ahi Tuna for appetizers; the oysters were small and disappointing. As for the Ahi Tuna, this was even more disappointing; when it came out there were 6 or 8 paper thin slices of tuna. We could literally see through the Tuna! I bet there wasn't even two ounces of fish for $10 (go to Caribbean Jack's for a good tuna appetizer). We also had the fish tacos and catfish (I think) for entres. They were ok, nothing to write home about and just middle of the road, at best. All in all, I can cook just as well as the kitchen at Oyster Pub.

If you want really good oysters for about the same price, and larger than a dime, go down the street to Hyde Park.

If you want to go watch the game, get drunk, eat some decent bar food at an ok price, then this is your place.

Oh, I almost forgot, the pool tables are [...]...literally. The felt is all stained, not even close to the original color, they are not level and there is a dead rail on the table by claw machine thing. If you are more than just a ball banger of a pool player, definately do not go here to play.

We started off with a pitcher of beer that was reasonably priced and cold. :) We then ordered wings grilled hot garlic . They were yummy !!! Next up was oysters stuffed with a shrimp/crab breading ... the best I have had !!! Next up ... a California chicken club with avacados .. decent ... and also a crab leg dinner .. ehh ... can tell they are frozen and were a little over cooked but we are in the south and can't expect much better "snow" crab. Service was good. Server was pleasant and attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience . Order the stuffed oysters!!!!

Was looking for a Sunday Sports Bar to watch our football game and we were told about the Oyster Pub. We went and were met by friendly staff, waitress was most accommodating and getting us the perfect table to watch our game. Will definetly return to the Oyster Pub
