My husband and I stayed here for 7 days, 6 nights the week before Christmas. The hotel was decorated so nice for the holidays and the staff made us feels so welcomed. Our room was very spacious with a private balcony and ample amenities. The location in Delray was perfect, walking distance to everything and if not, hotel drivers take you within a 5 mile radius of the hotel, no need for a car. The spa was wonderful and very relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast at the ETC.cafe right downstairs and great outdoor seating to enjoy. The Atlantic Grill, also downstairs, was delicious with live musicin the bar. We did enjoy daily lunch at the Beach Club, sitting just steps from the sand and ocean, and a delicious Lobster night dinner in the dining room with live music. Both the hotel and Beach club have beautiful pools. The concierge was very helpful in planning our reservations during our stay. We feel that the staff here had made our winter getaway a holiday memory and definatley will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for about 5 nights at the beginning of November. Beautiful hotel and excellent service. Location is good, just over the bridge from most restaurants, which makes it just a little closer to the beach. Didn't need a car at all for our stay as everything was within walking distance. When the weather was bad (rained one night) or we needed to go a further distance, the hotel had a complimentary service to take you there and pick you up. If we had rented a car, the hotel charges for parking and it probably would have been idle most of the time. Spent a good deal of time at the Beach Club (about a 4 block walk, or you can take comp service). It gets very busy on the weekends, with the weekdays being more relaxing if that's what you are looking for. We ate a couple of times at the Beach Club restaurant and the food is good, and of course, you are sitting right on the ocean so view is excellent. The pool at the hotel is elongated and better situated for doing laps or just standing and cooling off. As compared to the pool at Beach Club, this one is almost entirely shaded, whereas at the Beach Club, you have to maneuver your chair or umbrella to shield the sun when you've had enough.
Didn't get a chance to use spa. Although this hotel is new and modern, it still has the Floridian feel and probably would be my first choice when returning to Delray Beach.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor (4th) facing east can get a glimpse of the ocean. Also, traffic is light on...

My husband and I stayed Friday - Sunday as we were down to attend a friend's wedding. Upon arriving, the room did seem well appointed, but we quickly realized looks can be deceiving.

While I unpacked, my husband got into the shower, only to immediately have the shower head fall down on him. I opened the dresser to find a small bag, cups and other garbage with a note dated 2 weeks earlier that the guests had found this upon their arrival and the maid should remove. I noticed one of the bedside lights wouldn't turn off, so before we set out for the night, we told the front desk and the shower head was reattached by the time we came back. The power went out several times that night and the following morning, with no explanation. When we went to go online, we were surprised that there was an additional charge for access especially in light of the $200+ /night rate AND $25 "resort" fee added on. (This is no resort.) On Saturday we left at about 9 am to walk around / go to the beach, leaving the service room light on. When we returned at 3 pm, the room still had not been made up so yet another call to the front desk had to be made.

I went to the spa, and as suggested, arrived 25 minutes early. While the rooms were clean, the steam room was not -- foul smelling and gross, and essentially I just sat in the crowded waiting area for 20 minutes until I was called for the treatment. The staff were very nice there, but not exactly the amenities or service you would expect for the price. Overall, this was a decent hotel, but not one we will be staying at again.

Our family of four (mom, dad, 2 young kids) stayed in a one-bedroom junior suite for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The room was beautifully decorated in a modern style and was just enough room for the 4 of us. The kids slept on a pull out couch in the living room and we slept on a king bed in the bedroom. The bathroom was huge and beautifully done in granite and marble. The soaking tub and separate large shower were amazing!

Service at the hotel was one of the best that we have ever had at a hotel -- they were immediately responsive to most requests that we had. They also provide transportation to their beach club or anywhere else within a 5 mile radius for free.

The staff and hotel were both very child-friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Seagate as part of a group who were attending a 25th wedding anniversary. It is a charming hotel very close to the "action" on Atlantic Avenue. We did not go to the Beach Club, but we understand that it is very nice.

We found the staff pleasant and accommodating at all times. They and the spacious, clean, well decorated room were the most positive aspects of this hotel.

We were a bit underwhelmed by the extra charges--charge for WIFI, $19 charge for parking--in such an expensive hotel--and the additional $25 for the Beach Club would have also irritated us if we'd used it. It would make much more sense to raise the price and not nickel and dime the hotel guests. We did not eat any meals at the hotel--$17 for an omelet seems steep, when there are so many other pleasant alternatives within walking distance.

When we arrived, it took the front desk attendant two tries to get our room keys right. That meant a delay in being able to get into our room. Our room had a) a burned out light in the shower; b)a broken towel rack in the bathroom; c)a broken pillow for the bathtub, so it immediately fell into the water; d) a stopped up sink. The repairs were done quickly and pleasantly, but a hotel of this stature should not present a room to a guest in that condition. Needless to say, we were given no discount on the room or apology for the minor but irritating problems we encountered.

Room Tip: As I understood the room clerk when making a reservation, the least expensive rooms overlook a parki...

Stayed for one night while attending a friends wedding reception. We had a king room which was a nice size and filled with very nice touches. As soon as you enter you are warmly greeted by the many staff members that you already know you will be treated well. The hotel is not on the beach (one short block away) but the have their own private beach club a short 10 minute walk away or by their own trolley that departs every half hour. We took the trolley there and then walked back. The Beach Club is right on the beach, has a nice heated pool, chairs on the beach as well as umbrella's etc all included in your activity fee. The staff there is very efficient and again very friendly. Drinks were a little pricey but good.
Our room was an inside room that didn't have a view but the outside rooms basically overlook the street so we didn't miss much.
The hotel is located a few blocks from the main part of the Atlantic Avenue action which was fine as it was quieter. The hotel has two Mercedes Benz SUV's that will shuttle you anywhere in a 5 mile radius which means to basically any resturant etc on Atlantic ave. We arrived by car and never had to use it until we departed.
Cons: The $25 activity fee and the $19 parking is a bit high. Views from the hotel are nonexistent. Not directly ocean front.
Pros: Great Staff, Clean comfortable, quiet rooms with very nice decor. In Room K-Cup coffee maker! (I always find that these higher end places force you to get the coffee from a lobby coffee shop but not here!) Choice of newspaper delivery (and they delivered the correct one!). Nice size bathroom with great towels and robes. Big Flat Screen TV.

Room Tip: Inside rooms basically face a wall. Get rooms facing the street however inside room was extremely qu...

Stayed 4 nights. Beautiful large room and gorgeous huge bathroom. Bed is super comfy and turn down includes an orchid on your pillow. The service here is top notch. You're always greeted w/a smile and asked if you need help in any way. Great location for walking to the beach or into town. Their trolley to the beach club was nice. Beach club beautiful w/same excellent service. Since it was off season we got a great rate through a Mastercard special.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floor w/city view.
