This hotel is exceedingly loud. Doors slamming pretty much all day long, banging against propped open locks as rooms are cleaned by staff, turn-down service is occurring, or bags are being picked up or dropped off by bellmen. Walls are paper thin. It is unmentionable what I was woken to on my first night there. Suffice it to say that it caused me to question whether I was in a hotel that billed by the hour. Front desk staff exceedingly rude. When our room was not ready for over an hour past check-in time, they downgraded us to a smaller room and failed to apologize for the delay, despite the fact that my two-year old was at that point three hours past naptime. After a day of obligations, we were finally ready to go to the Beach Club, which we were informed was closed for a wedding so we would not be able to use it. Again, no apology. Room service came with nowhere to eat it. Delivered on a tray, when it really needed a table wheeled in so that it could be comfortably eaten. Water pressure atrocious. Toilets dripped constantly and echoed in the stone bathroom loud enough to keep one up at night. Room service menu was pathetic with very few options, despite a full restaurant downstairs. Overall the service in this hotel was equivalent to that of a Days Inn. The staff appears to think that they have a luxury hotel and can condescend to the guests, but they really have a pretty building with not much else. Do NOT book this hotel.

Everything is top notch, especially our experience with the wonderful tennis pro, Dennis. The staff is friendly and happy to help you with anything. The facilities are exquisite and easy to access thanks to the drivers that will drive you around in white Escalades free of charge. Don't miss the sharks swimming in the aquariums in the Atlantic Grill!

Maybe not for us. Negatives,Room was on a corner so extra large with a good size balcony but on the street side so very loud in the morning. Even the hotel was doing lawn care at 9a, sorry we are on vacation and would have loved to sleep in. Lounge is so nice but loud, shouting to have a conversation loud, live music kept us outside every night. Outside bar area is nice but waaaaay too small considering lots of people trying to stay out of the disco inside. Last two nights, the firepits werent lit, they ran out of fuel, seriuosly its winter and for this floridean it was too cool to sit out without heat lamps. Sadly, we gave up and had drinks in the room. Positives, mostly,Service was lovely and friendly from check in to housekeeping, really terrific and couldn't do enough for us. Pool area and bar service was great as was the beach club but as others have posted, they close for private parties without any notice. They were actually picking up tables and removing chairs around us. A note under our door would have prevented feeling like we were getting the bums rush. Food was better at the club then in the hotel itself but no real complaints at either. Loved, loved the transportation to area restaurants as we walked in town and to the beach every day but I draw the line to walking in heels, so great service to have. Spa, amazing couples massage, worth every pretty penny. Delay was a fun, eclectic town to visit with lots to offer but may chose a quieter hotel next trip.

Don't be fooled by the glamorous lobby
We have stayed there two times. Both times our room was dirty, dirty rugs, broken chair, sink that would not drain, broken mini Bar. We asked several times to have the mini bar fixed. It was never done. Dirty coffee machine. They cover the smell by a potent air fresher that's smells like cheap perfume. When ordering breakfast they forgot coffee mugs, utensils and jelly we had to wait another 30 minutes for mugs. All this happens fom time to time but there is no excuse for dirty rugs in the room and broken chairs. This hotel has a beautiful lobby but the rooms do not live up to luxury room standards. However their beach club is great and the food in both beach club restaurants is very very good . If only their rooms could live up to their beach restaurant .

Room Tip: Both times we stayed our room was not that great both rooms had dirty rugs

Loved the location, close to all restaurants and night life. The hotel has a superb cocktail lounge, nice comfortable rooms (upgrade is worth while). The Beach Club is the jewel, although not on property it is only a few minutes away.

i am not a fan of Florida, but the five nights we spent at the Seagate might change my mind. The room was spacious and well appointed, but it was the staff that totally impressed me. They were on top of their game. In addition, their beach club down the block was a joy as well. The ability to leave the hotel and walk into downtown Delray only added to our stay. If we could give it a sith star we would

Just spent 5 nights at the Seagate Hotel and Spa. It was our first time in Delray Beach -we had bought tickets to the annual ATP tennis Tournament at the Delray Tennis Center and needed a hotel close by. We loved everything about this hotel. Beautifully decorated and well appointed lobby, guest rooms and bathrms. The beach club was great. Loved the beach valet service, pool was nice, bathrooms and changing area were clean and the restaurant and bar was perfect for lunch. The pool area and fitness center at the hotel was really nice and the spa was 5 star! My husband and I both had massages and both of our therapists were exceptional (Jacquie and Dana). I also enjoyed a rejuvenating facial from Jicema. Felt like a new person when i walked out! To top off all of this luxury we really enjoyed the private transportation to and from restaurants, country club and beach club. I'll also give a shout out to Daniel at the front desk for helping us out when we checked in. I highly recommend this hotel - we will be back!
