Veteran's park is a great place for any age person. Right on the water, benches, lots of grass, playground, fountain... just go.

“Nice LIttle Part”

Quaint little park is off East Atlantic Ave (North Side) just before the intracoastal waterway. Watch the boats go by or have a meal in one of the places near by. There's a playground for the kids and when the Art Shows-Garlic Fest, etc. are there the place is packed. There are bunch of little shops just to west in the same parking lot.

“Simply beautiful”

Right on the intercoastal waterway, the park is lush and full of life, especially every other weekend when the "Art In The Park" events from the local artists group is presenting. Yacht tours of the luxe properties up and down the waterway also leave from here, I recommend the Sunday brunch cruise - the food is nothing to write home about, but it's a lot of fun, and a very easy, relaxing way to spend an early afternoon after a long Saturday night at The Blue Anchor!
