Short walk from the Public Access, wide flat water access. Waves breaking at multiple points making it fun for a 12 y/o & 2 y/o.

Very laid back and nice beach good to go in the early mornings or later in the evening so it want be as crowded but we did come at one of the busiest weeks of the season. Still very relaxing no one bothered your belongings and everyone was very friendly.

This beach has just enough people, not overcrowded not too noisy , everyone was respectful of other peoples property. White sand is so soft, bluest water. Beach warning flags were visible. Great place to enjoy

Crystal Beach is lovely! What's not to like? White powder sand, with crystal emerald green waters. It's wonderful! However, because it is a public beach it can be quite crowded and loud. There is one company that offers beach chairs and umbrellas for $35 a day (1 umbrella & two chairs) so depending on when you arrive and how long you plan on staying you may be better off laying on your own towel. But again, it depends on the length of your stay if paying for the chairs and umbrella is worth it. We enjoyed this beach our first two days while we stayed at the Beachside Inn. However, once we moved to Henderson Park Inn (Bed & Breakfast) we enjoyed a peaceful & private beach. It was amazing! If you would like to enjoy a nice and quiet beach I recommend going to Henderson Park (the park not the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at). The entrance fee is very low (I think $6 per vehicle or $2 to $3 by bike or on foot) and you can enjoy a private beach with the turtles and birds!

Gorgeous beach with restaurant/bar close by to walk too if you'd like. Our favorite beach during our stay.
