We loved our shakes! We sampled several flavors and had a difficult choice, they were all so good! Highly recommend them for a fantastic summer time treat.

While visiting Destin over July 4th holiday, we passed this place by chance. I remember Bruster's when I lived in Atlanta, so we stopped to give it a try. I had the hot fudge sundae and wife had mint chocolate chip. Both were amazing and refreshing. This is a busy spot and can be tricky to get in/out of due to the busy traffic on the highway. There is also limited seating at picnic tables.

Stayed in Santa Rosa and drove all the way to Bruster's to try some of their ice cream. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake, it was delicious. My wife got the hot brownie with vanilla. The orders are very large, and neither of us could finish our servings.

The spot was still very busy, though most of the tourist have packed it up for the season. Did notice the outside seating area needs a fresh coat of paint, and there were a lot of ants. So I wouldn't advise you to eat it there, be sure to take it with you.

The place was a little pricey, similar to Cold Stone if you're into that kind of ice cream. I still go with Cold Stone over Bruster's.

Seemed to need more people working but it was worth the wait except for carmalized walnuts were pasty and stuck together instead of carmly. But it was still good!

As previous reviewers have mentioned, you stand in line outside like the 'ol DQ days to get your ice cream....but the lines do move pretty quick and it is a nice, family atmosphere. The selection of flavors is plentiful and the ice cream itself tastes pretty good. Our only small gripe is that it's a little pricey with few options as far as number of dips. For example a waffle cone is $4.75 and you get 3 scoops (which are not the normal sized scoops). Overall, though, it's definitely worth checking out.
