“Cheapest in town and poor quality screen”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

This is an old theater which they have tried unsuccessfully to upgrade. It is a couple of dollars cheaper than the upscale multiplexes in town and is fine for films that are more about the story and not dependent on graphics and sound quality.

“Nice little old time theatre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

One tradition we have when travelling is to go to old theatres for a movie. Although nothing to look at, it is cool to go to these smaller, nostalgic theatres! Normal snack bar fare, reasonable prices. Tucked away so need to look for it a little but nice to support the little guys!

“nice time at a loder theater”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

went here a couple days ago, kind of reminds you of the older theaters in small towns. Had been down at the new big theater and checked for show times, the one we wanted to watch was a little over an hour from starting, we checked prices and decided to check this one out instead. tickets where quite a bit cheaper and concessions a lot more reasonable. went into the show and there wasn't very many people almost to the point that I told my wife I felt sorry for the theater owner. we had a great time and didn't kill us on prices, staff was very friendly, if you want to see a movie and not have to take a loan out try this place out. overall had a really good time

“Economical Movies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

Less crowded and much cheaper than the Rave theater or whatever it is called now in the Commons shopping center. Parking is very, very convenient - 20 yard walk to the front door.
The theater is old styled and definitely not new, but good value and clean. Much cheaper snacks and door prices.

“Easy parking and $6.00 matinees till 6:00”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

This little jewel is tucked away behind Post Office and Old Time Pottery between Highway 98 (Emerald Coast Highway) and Main St. There's plenty of Parking and no crowds to plough through. Tuesday is the day to go as the Popcorn and Beverage is only $5.00 for both. Check online for Destin Movie Theaters schedule and it's usually 1:30 and 4 PM for matinees. After 5 it's a little more, but discounts for seniors are available. I always check weekly to see which of the new releases are showing. Theater looks a little tired but certainly worth the price of admission. A nice way to spend the afternoon out of the hot summer sun or rainy day and not break the bank.
