I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us.

As is the case when any of our guests encounter a problem we work quickly and diligently to correct the issue. In this case, no complaint was received and we were not afforded the chance to correct the problem. After receiving this review we have checked all of our units and found no evidence of fleas or bedbugs and received no complaints from any of our other guests.

We have always striven for and succeeded in offering clean lodging. Being that our Cabins are located in the woods, in Florida we do encounter the occasional bug problem but are quick to address them.

We have never had a bug problem due to cleanliness issues.

I'd like the opportunity to discuss your stay with us further and see if there is something we can do to make things right. Please give me a call at the office at (352) 489-9983 Mon-Fri 9:00 am-4:00 pm and ask for Richard.

I look forward to hearing from you,

My family and I just got back home from a weekend at the cabins. We all had a blast! I don't think anyone had one thing negative to say. The only thing that could make it anymore perfect would be if they provided salt, pepper, and sugar. They provide everything else. Well, except for shampoo and conditioner but I'm picky about that so I just bring my own ;-)
There's plenty to do here! It'd be impossible to get bored there. The cabins were very clean. The kitchen is full. They had direct TV with movie channels.
The staff were all so nice! They smiled and just seemed like they really enjoyed being there and working.
We will be coming back here yearly. Oh, and the whole town is super cute!

We love the location and have looked forward to our stays here for past five years. This year was disappointing. Cabin stunk of cat urine furniture is old mattresses are old and back breaking. No service to speak of. Used to get clean towels if set out. Not this visit. It seems to be going south with lack of upkeep and unneutered pets.

Area and staff great. Needs some upgrades, however. Our group rented 3 cabins. Between the 3 cabins we had 2 steak knives and no butcher knives. We would not have brought steak to grill had we known this. Our cabin was missing the tv and dvd remote. Also most of the coffee cups had chips around the lip.
Very noisy group in cabin next door the first night we arrived. Outside on porch with music blasting past 2am. Cabins are very close together. No one patrolling to control noise.

Room Tip: Walk from parking lot to the cabins down the hill. No parking at cabin. There are wagons available t...

We just stayed in a Rainbow Rivers Club Cabin for 3 nights and had a great time. We had cabin 3 and it was nice. We did notice it was one of the few cabins without a back door off the porch, but it didn't really matter. I think only cabin 3, 2, and 12 have a view of the lake. The only complaint I have about the entire stay was the ants in our cabin. I put all of our food on the counter when we first arrived and we went exploring for a little while. When we got back there were ants everywhere! I had to rinse off everything we had and keep it all in the refrigerator the whole time. Thankfully I brought all food to cook outside and did not plan on actually using the kitchen. I had wet naps and wiped down the counters regularly and they would not go away. Gross. Other than that, the place was awesome. There was a volleyball court, several tether ball setups, pool, nice fishing dock, trails, a rec center with ping pong & a pool table, and even a little library. Staff was friendly upon arrival and left us alone. They cleaned our grill every day, but we never saw them. We saw a lot of wildlife, we think a bobcat, an armadillo, a dear, otters on the river, and I caught a catfish on their dock.

Just had another perfect Memorial Day Weekend at the Rainbow Rivers Club!! The staff are always so kind and professional. Jadene in the office is so sweet and professional. Ray at the Marina is always willing to help with boats or anything you may need. The villas are situated on the River and are well maintained. They also have cabins and a pool nearby for your pleasure.
We have been enjoying our weekend get away for six years now. Every visit is better than the last!
Try this spot soon!!!

When we arrived on a Saturday, went to the main office and saw they expected us at a cabin (on a note on the door). Only problem was that nobody told us the cabins were not at the location of the office, which is closed on the weekends. So, we were still lost.

For about an hour, we are walking around the office, looking for a clue. We happened on a very nice man, who told us we had to go out the main highway, turn right, go over the bridge, make a right on San Jose, go to the end and then turn right, go all the way to then end, and we would be there.

I don;'t know what we would have done if we had not run into that man! We would have had to go find a hotel I guess. But we had already paid for one nights stay and would have lost that money.

When we received our receipt in the mail when we paid for the first night, there was no map or directions as to how to find our cabin or that we would even have to look for it! Just assumed we would be taken care of at the office when we checked in.

On the plus side, after we found the cabin, our stay was GREAT. Good cabins, great location, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our thanks specially to Pat! She is such a gem! She helped us from the moment we finally found and arrived at the camp.

If not for the confusion surrounding our finding our cabin I would have given this 5 stars. Everything else about this place is excellent. Cabins are clean, great views, super place to stay, but I can't give it a 5 because of the check in.

Room Tip: Cabin 12 best view
