This is not a large exhibit; but it was quite informative. There is no other museum dedicated to local or regional Afro American culture in the area; so we were happy to find that this building, and its memorabiolia, had been preserved. One of the original hotel rooms, that would have housed famous black artists of the era, was also on display. The former home of Dr.Wells has been relocated adjacent to the museum and is scheduled for restoration as funds become available. Admission price is extremely reasonable at $5 for adults or $3 for seniors and students.
