“Breakfast with friends.”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

After reading the good reviews, we decided to give this cafe a try. The selection was good and everyone had something different. The food took a while to come, but, was worth the wait. The staff was very friendly and the morning coffee kept coming. Will definitely go back.

“Great seating under the oak tree.”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

The food was good the service was great but the atmosphere was what it is all about. Small street in downtown Englewood, off the beaten path. Large oak tree and tables makes this place inviting. People obviously know about it, it was a packed place on a nice sunny day. Usual lunch fare of sandwiches, fish and burgers but they did seem to be running out of a few items I could hear from the waitresses, including the chicken I wanted for a sandwich. The place serves breakfast and I bet it is great to be seating outdoors on a warm day for the meal.

“Great food and outside under the trees.”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

Love this restaurant! Been there 4 times now, and the food is remarkable. The Black and Blue hamburger is as good as any hamburger I have ever eaten, and better than most. Their breakfasts are cooked to perfection, hot and delicious. Fantastic Rueben sandwiches! When on Dearborn Street, it is a great place to rest and enjoy the weather, while drinking a cold beer and eating something special. Try the shrimp benedict...Wow. Sorry, have to say it again. Love this restaurant!!
