our weekend was perfect...the staff is wonderful the rooms are perfect...the inn is very well maintained and really taken care of...they think of everything for you...when we arrived they had placed a bag of ice in the freezer and bottled water in the frig for us...they even called us when our room was ready so we could check in early...I have to say that this is the best times we have ever had...the staff is so friendly and respectful...the worst part of the weekend was the fact that we had to leave...we can't wait to go back

My husband, son and I stayed overnight on August 14th while visiting my parents in Florida. The Gulf front location was beautiful and private and my son was thrilled to find tons of shark teeth. We chose Manasota Key over Venice for it's natural beauty and were not disappointed. We stayed in room 6 for the gulf view and private porch. It was clean and nicely furnished and the little kitchenette comes in handy for breakfast and snacks. My only disappointment was in the size of the futon. It clearly states on their website that the futon is only 4 1/2 feet but I read that the room could accommodate 3 adults. Shame on me for not measuring the futon because my 5'8", 13 year old son was hanging off the futon by nearly 2 feet. Not for tall children at all. Also did not have sheets for the futon in the room so we covered it with an extra blanket (staff leaves at 6 pm and we did not notice missing sheet until well after.)
Overall, staff is super friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this location for a short visit.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are more private. Be aware the futon only opens to 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and will no...

Chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. All recent reviews are correct.
Pearl Beach Inn is a "gem" on the Florida Gulf Coast.
The rooms are beautiful with many amenities: comfortable beds, kitchenettes with dishes and
utensils, Adirondack chairs on patio, nice décor...
Flat screen TV is a little small, but who comes to the Florida Gulf to watch TV.
The bathroom is nice, but small, and does not have a fan. So, when door is closed it gets
a little stuffy. Extra towels available in laundry area.
The view from our room and little patio area was phenomenal. A short walk to the beach.
Beach was clean with too many shells to count.
Spent time sitting on patio, collecting sharks teeth, and floating with provided beach toys.
Really impressed with all the available, free-to-use beach items: towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie
boards, fun-noodles, screens for finding sharks teeth.....

Room Tip: We stayed in room #7, which has less sun than room 6. But, all rooms are great! Rooms 4 & 5 are...

Paradise! Nice little secluded spot. Second time I stayed there...needs a few updates but it is truly a relaxing place to stay for a weekend getaway. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in nearby Venice..a 5 minute ride!!

Room Tip: Unit 3 lets you view the gulf right from your room and you can watch the sun set right from your lit...

We really enjoyed our 3 day mini vacation at the Pearl. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a very small motel type property. Although their is no daily maid service, anything you needed was provided right away. If no one is around (after 5) there is extra (self-serve) in the laundry room. Very casual and friendly. From coffee, snacks, bags of ice, towels, shampoo etc. The rooms are immaculate, and I am very picky. For the first time even the coverlet for the bed was freshly laundered! We stayed in #6, which has a beautiful ocean view and a small covered porch with two chairs. Even in the rain, we could sit outside and watch the storm. The rooms are not large, but nice furniture and comfy bed. The bathroom was small. The kitchen in this unit did not have a stove, but did have a large fridge, microwave, and small appliances tucked everywhere! This property is surrounded by million dollar homes, so the beach is quite private. Just Lovely Can't wait to go back.

Are you ready for some old Florida? What a great place to stay and relax! True peace and happiness are found here! We will be back for years to come, it's like you have your own private beach. Fred the manager was always near and ready to help with any and all needs. We have to give the Pearl a 5 out of 5 for us because she had everything we could want! Thank you and God Bless you Pearl!
