Included with tour, paid extra for drinks. Hamburger sucked. Fish sandwich was good. Decor cool. Sweet potato fries good. Alligator bites good. Waitress sucked.

Had two meals here and it was overpriced and below average. The reason why i am posting is because we fished and brought in some amazing fresh trout we had caught 2 hours earlier. We asked that it be just pan fried but they could not do that. Instead they said they would broil it.
Mind you there were 6 people in the restaurant on a Monday night. It took them 40 minutes and what came out was a total disaster. The beautiful fish we just caught was turned into completely over broiled and covered with paprika junk. I am still furious and it is 2 days later. So my advice is stay away.

After a day exploring the Everglades, we found the Oyster House for dinner and are we glad. The coconut macadamia grouper was amazing, and the clam chowder was the best I've ever eaten. We also enjoyed the stone crab chowder and the grouper sandwich. The server was excellent. She made our stay at the restaurant even better. If you are in Everglades City, be sure to stop here for lunch or dinner. I'm considering a trip back there just for dinner.

We had dinner here after our boat tour and enjoyed the food. The 4 of us all ordered the House Grouper Special ($23) and it was very good. The clam chowder and vegetable beef soup was also very tasty. Nice decor and the place is located just down from the entrance to Everglades National Park.

Seafood platter was $17 and MOSTLY french fries! Tasted ok but disappointed in the "mix" - for that price and proximity to ocean, I expected more. Grouper sandwich was ok but give another bread option besides hamburger bun!
