We ate here 3 times in 5 days, a tribute to the food being good and the limited number of restaurants open after 5 p.m. The menu has a good variety of seafood but sides are limited to fries & baked potatoes. Salads were good. I twice had the Everglades City specialty stone crabs which I had never eaten before. The waitress was very good about explaining how to eat them and they were very good. My husband had oysters twice. Service can be a bit slow and they start to sweep up around you when it is getting close to closing time. It seems to be a big locals spot and the bar seems to do good business. It is not a fancy place but you will get a good meal.

Disappointed to be told that there were no stone crabs although the sign out front calls it the stone crab capital of the world. Fish tacos were very underwhelming, tasted like catfish, not grouper. Steamed shrimp were mushy. Nice atmosphere and friendly service, but the food was underwhelming.

Went for the Saturday night prime rib special. Had a party of eight and the service was great. Prime rib and sides were just as ordered. A perfect meal in a perfect setting.
The restaurant has an attached bar that seems to be "hopping", and is decorated with hunting trophies, old advertising, antiques, etc.

Went to oyster house when another restaurant had too long a wait. We ordered gator for an appetizer, then triggerfish for the main course with a cup of clam chowder. All of the food was fresh, with the fish finished with a nice key lime sauce. Gator was interesting - in many ways reminded me of calamari. The only frustrating part was we tried ordering the stone crab and the edamame salad and they were out. Also was not a fan of the decor but never been a big one for stuffed wildlife around the room.

We came here for my birthday dinner and the bartender not only bought me a drink but she gave me a slice of key lime pie on the house ( was delicious). The fish wasnt very flavorful but the atmosphere made up for it! They will also cook fish that you catch.
