Hotel has been renovated. Bed comfortable, view of ocean good even though it is a side view. Bathroom small but adequate. Sitting area with separate TV and small refrigerator. Breakfast is included and prepared by a charming gentleman. Pool and pool area small but perfect for us. Will definitely go back. Employees are helpful and pleasant. We loved the rooftop. Great for sun and an evening beverage with a view.

This small boutique hotel is right on the beach, the rooms are lovely, the hotel is charming, everything you would want in a vacation stay. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were comfortable and the shower and bath was impeccable. Our breakfast was cooked every morning fresh - eggs, grits, pancakes, sausage and the usual cereals and fruits and breads. All in all it is one of our favorite places now.

Room Tip: we took the only room they had left, but I understand that there are rooms with balconies which woul...

We stayed here for four nights March 29 through April 2. This hotel is beautifully renovated and our rooms were fantastic. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was awesome. Breakfast cooked every morning by Pete was great, eggs any way you like them, pancakes, grits, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins…a wonderful way to start your morning. The front desk girls were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, just a BeAuTiFuL place with a great staff.

I researched a number of Fernandina Beach properties before settling on the Seaside Amelia Inn based on its web site's video of the property. Right on the beach and freshly remodeled, this hotel was just what we needed to put the long winter behind us. Room 312 had a small poolside balcony that gave us a wonderful view of the sunrise over the beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable for a family of four. Breakfast in the cafe area included both hot and cold options and met every expectation. We also appreciated the convenience of the underground parking area.Historic downtown Fernandina Beach was a short drive away for dinner in a charming setting.

Had a studio queen on second floor overlooking pool with a balcony. Yes, the room is small yet adequate for 2 people. Extremely clean and smelled so fresh, also the ocean breeze was wonderful. Brought a dvd player and rented redbox movies to watch at night. The weather was a noreaster but we enjoyed our weekend getaway! The chef cooked breakfast every morning was an amazing touch, everything cooked to order! The only suggestion is sure wished the tv was mounted in an easier viewing location. I will be back!! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Room Tip: balconies are nice, rooms are just big enough, stayed in room 204 studio with a balcony overlooking...

This is a wonderful place to stay. I stay often and I am always impressed with the staff and the quality of service. An employee with the first name of "Mac" typically handles the check-in shift at the front desk. Mac is Outstanding with the quality of time and attention she provides to guests. She makes you want to return for vacation or other business. It is indicative of the quality for the entire stay. Hot breakfast with eggs made to order, pancakes, grits, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, and an assortment of breads, muffins, juice and coffee are complimentary. Rooms are immediately at the beach; request beachfront views. The ocean is at the front door, not across the street like so many other hotels or inns in the area.

Room Tip: Request oceanview or partial ocean view. Again, the employee at front desk named Mac will assist yo...
