We only were in town for one evening and had never been to Amelia Island before. The place was absolutely beautiful and everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Hour and had fun meeting all the other guests. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were more than generous. The Inn recommended Joe's 2nd Street Bistro for dinner and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and only a few blocks away. We never had to use our car, everything was in walking distance. If we are ever in the area again, The Addison is the only place we would stay. The place was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Even after reading the hype on TripAdvisor, we were impressed. We stayed in Room 12, a corner room that is spacious and tastefully decorated. It has a "semi private" porch facing the beautiful courtyard and the largest shower/bathtub we have ever seen.

The breakfast was top notch. Tasty. Creative. Very filling. And the happy hour was a great opportunity to meet the other guests and hang out with Bob, who has to be one of the coolest, most attentive innkeepers out there.

Worth every penny.

Excellent location, first class rooms ( quite, clean, comfy, roomy ), and quite a delicious breakfast to get you going.
Bob and Shannon are fine, caring and quality oriented inn keepers, making sure their guests have all the things they need to enjoy Amelia Island and the city.
Would stay here, over and over.

Room Tip: Choose a second floor room ( 12 )...outstanding view of lush courtyard..comfy and quite.

We stayed at The Addison recently and enjoyed the hospitality, clean rooms, wonderful breakfasts, green courtyard, breezy porches, and homemade cookies. Definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway or couples escape. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating.
