My wife and I decided to stop for 2 nights on the return from Marco Island to Pennsylvania. We were never to Amelia Island but this turned out to be a highlight. The Inn itself and the historic area were excellent and provided a relaxing break and entertaining time on the trip. We will definitely consider it again not only for a stopover but also as a destination. The Addison itself was very comfortable and the hosts very attentive to details and niceties that make the visit memorable. Breakfasts and happy hour were great.
