Awesome!!! This was sort of a spontaneous trip although I had been sort of researching this area for awhile. I am sooo glad we went, but I'm just sooo sad we were only there for the weekend. The Williams House is a beautiful establishment that makes you feel at home. We stayed in the "King Ferdinand" room and it was a very beautiful, quaint, comfortable stay. Byron and Deborah and staff were the best hosts anyone could expect. The food was absolutely delicious, from the breakfast meals to the snacks during the social hour! And I agree with one guest who recommended "David's" restaurant for a perfectly "fine dining" experience and you can't beat the location of it right around the corner from the Williams House. It has terrific atmosphere and great food! Loved the beaches, shops, and just the area in general. Great getaway!! Definitely going back, Lord willing!

Room Tip: Just browse the website and see what appeals to you. Sure they are all great choices.

The house is amazing, the grounds are beautiful with lovely gardens and huge old oak trees, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the goodies in the room were a bonus. We really appreciated the coffee station on the second floor was handy too ; ). Their location is very handy too - we could walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

We could not have chosen a better B&B....from the warm greeting from Byron (the owner) to the amazing room with a great view and a huge outside porch to the 5 minute walk to downtown...it was just wonderful !
You MUST go to "David's" right next door to the Inn for great jazz, atmosphere, and delicious food and wine...only wish we could have stayed more then 2 days...Can't wait to come back !!!!!

Room Tip: Always try to speak directly to the Inn Keeper.....Read reviews ....

This was our second stay at the Williams House and it was wonderful. Only sad thing was it was only for 1 night. But, it was a great stay. We stayed in the Egmont Indigo room (stayed in the same room last time) and was a great way to end our 5 day vacation. We were up in Charleston and on the day of departure, as we were checking out of our inn there, my daughter just kept on talking about the Williams House and how much she missed staying there. As a surprise to her, and a reward for all of us, I decided to go ahead and splurge and booked the inn for 1 night. The inn is only like 2 hours from our house, so we could have just driven home as opposed to staying there, but whatever, you've got to treat yourself good.
A plus about this room is that the coffee station is right there, so you don't have to wait until breakfast time to have coffee. For those of you who are worry about traffic from other guests, both times that I stayed there, there were limited traffic from other guests to the coffee station.

The Williams house is one of the most outstanding B & Bs available in this country. The location is wonderful, the grand old house is treat to visit and the rooms are magnificently appointed. But, most importantly, Deborah and Byron are outstanding hosts!

We had such a great time at the Williams House. There were cookies and fresh flowers in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was EXCELLENT each day! The house is within walking distance to so many cute local restaurants. We rode bikes to the beach and relaxed in the sand. Deborah and Byron were so helpful in giving us suggestions of where to go for dinner. Oh and wine hour each night was such a special touch. Can't wait to go back.

What can I say, I was very impressed of the beautiful historic house located in a quite (little traffic)
area & yet very close to all shops, restaurants -- a perfect B&B. We had a family wedding and
it was most memorable. The owners were attentive and the breakfast was something to look for
in the morning -- table setting, food and service was exceptional..

Room Tip: Upper rooms have a terrace.
