Despite being incredibly busy, they accommodated our party of 8 at 8:30p. Staff was so kind and patient, and very apologetic for running late. The food was the best we had on Amelia island and definitely worth the wait. They catered to the children's special requests and my friends and I enjoyed their seafood curry, Mac and cheese pasta, fish and shrimp and grits. Best soft shell crab i have had. Definitely worth a visit!!

Got there early, very few people, no res.
Excellent ,fast, correct and friendly service.
Oysters were some of the best we have had--great poor boy w/large oysters and small side, other oyster dish was very good also.
Dessert was good but pricey.
Outdoor seating was very nice

LuLu's is one of the few restaurants on Amelia Island that offers Sunday brunch and you should make your reservations early. We didn't. So by 1:30 p.m. when we were able to get in, we weren't in the mood for brunch any longer, despite the lovely presentations of poached eggs we watched being served as we were trying to make up our minds on what to eat. So I ordered the Cuban, which gets great comments, but I have had better. My other half ordered the Maryland Crab Cake Sandwich and said it was average. The sandwiches were large, the potato salad side pretty small, and the chips come in a bag. The place is charming, historic, and famous (featured on Jay Leno for its side door!) with a very small interior, but a nice sized exterior (by Amelia standards) with heat lamps. The wine pours are generous and the house wine is good. Becky was our waitress and her service was excellent, so we will give this another try . . . and order the Benedict . . . and make reservations earlier!

This is a tiny restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating on side street in downtown Fernandina Beach. The food is unique, interesting and very well prepared + tasty. Prices are fair for the food you get; portions are large.
