Our party of 12 was, to a person, pleased with the service, the menu and the delicious food. All came away having experienced an evening of excellent service, exceptional food selection prepared perfectly, all in an very pleasant atmosphere. The only negative was the bright lighting. La Mancha is a very good restaurant.

My hubby and 3 friends went to La Mancha on Sadler on Amelia Island last night.
What a treat--we all had different tapas and salads. The food was remarkable. The presentation was perfect. The staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient, Hurry you shouldn't miss it!

Reserved with Open Spoon, and we were seated promptly, even thought there was a mix up in the reservation. Another group of 3 with same last name had proceeded us and were mistaken for our reservation.

Again we went for the Tapas menu, Gambas Ajillo (Shrimp), Scallops Mondragon, Almondegas de Sire (Crab meatballs), Pan con Tomate (grilled bread brushed with tomatoes) and a Caesar salad to share.

We had had the shrimp and scallops the last visit and again they were excellent, the sauce for the shrimp makes a great dipping sauce for the bread. The crab was very good and the Pan con Tomate was the unexpected hit with the group. Be aware the Caesar salad come with whole anchovies, I prefer mine broken up in smaller bites, I was the only one eating the anchovies.

Service was very good, we had a relatively new waiter. He was helpful in making our selections and attentive to our needs. The owner seated us and stopped by to confirm that we were satisfied with our food and service.

Be sure and consider the daily specials.

I was pleasantly surprised when the check arrived, it was less than I expected for three people.

I had dinner here on a Saturday night around 7:00. We had a reservation, which was nice because the place was hopping. You could probably go without that though, as I did see a couple of free tables.
The food is delicious. They have an excellent selection of tapas. We tried the shrimp ajillo (think that's right) the eggplant and the ceviche. All delicious. Very filling, too. We split the ribeye steak chef's special for our main course. This had a very flavorful, slightly spicy, blue cheese sauce which was to die for.
Our waiter was fantastic. Very friendly staff. The only reason I would give this 4 stars and not 5 is because the ambiance is slightly lacking. It's very brightly lit, unless you are lucky enough to get a table in the small back room. Also the tables are very ordinary. Great restaurant though. Try it!

This location has gone through many changes, and there is finally an establishment with some staying power.

The food is exceptional, and the service is top notch.

Fabulous paella and steaks that are cooked to perfection.
2 for 1 Sangria on Tuesday is a great bonus.

The atmosphere is the kind of casual you would expect in a resort area. A little more upscale than most places, but well worth the extra money.
