What a pleasnt and delicious dinner. We ate in the courtyard and there was a nice breeze.
Scott was our waiter and he had a young and enthusiastic helper with him. We had a glass of wine and a simple but very good house salad. They served bread with a nice spice and dressing dip which was good. The bread could have been better. We ordered the Seafood Paella and Mero a Costa Brava which were both really delicious.
The Paella had wonderful flavors and delicious seafood perfectly cooked. The only thing lacking was the socarrat (the crust on the bottom). The Mero a Costs Brava is a Grouper filet in a spicy brown sauce topped with panko crusted scallops. The sauce is started with a pepper base and is unique and delicious (and not too hot).
We ended with an esspresso and coffee and we split a flan. The esspresso was perfect and the flan was wonderful without being gooey sweet like most.
The service was excellent as was the food and atmosphere. And considering the quality, the meal was a very good value. Bravo.
