Stopped by for lunch with a big group - easily accommodated. Awesome waitress.

Food was unexpectedly great for a beachy stop and they have an extensive beer list! Would love to sit outside next time.

“A Treasure on the Beach”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Regular customers well worth the drive from Daytona Beach. Turtle Shack is located 1.9 miles North of the Flagler Pier on A1A. The food is well plated and prepared, moderately priced. Cozy atmosphere and beautiful view of the Atlantic. During winter months Wright Whales can be seen from time to time. The Creame Brûlée is excellent but in limited quantities. I usually go for a burger and the wife gets shrimp. Always satisfied with attentive service and great food. We have been over a dozen times and never let down.

“Excellent Food and Service”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

A beach shack with limited indoor (A/C) seating and more seating in an outdoor room that benefits from the ocean breeze. Excellent service from friendly people. All food was terrific. We had mahi tacos, regular and sweet potato fries, nachos & salsa, burger, and crab cake.

“Stop here!”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Appearances can be deceiving. If I didn't read all the great reviews, I would not have chosen this restaurant. But I'm so glad that I did. It's a small restaurant, maybe 15 tables inside and another 5 outside.

My husband was instantly impressed with the beer menu. It was front and back and offered tons of craft beer options. We ordered way to much food as we couldn't decide. The house made chips with blue cheese and bacon are a must. He loved his grouper finger basket. And our daughter enjoyed a special treat of their peanut butter pie.

Tip - order the baskets. They are a great value and very filling!

“Gorgeous, Authentic, Not to be Missed”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Do not heed negative reviews of this tiny, adorable cafe. It is relaxed and beachside; it may look basic: paper napkins and plain tables, sauce bottle on the tables, but the food is excellent, brilliant value, and staff friendly. We ate here several times during our stay. The burgers are huge - even the so called 'skinny' burger with all the trimmings. The fish is fresh and delicious - the 'super grouper' is famous in the area. Shrimp, as you expect, large, fresh and delicious. They do a green veggie side (broccoli or green beans) which is great for feeding kids and you don't always get it in the states. Gorgeous location, across from the ocean, and a great selection of beers. Its laid back, friendly and check out their artisan Bob's Hot Sauce which they also sell by the bottle. I didn't make it for dinner but imagine it would be very chilled and romantic if you did.
