Just a great way to spend a day. you can get cruises, do some sightseeing, get some shopping done, find some good food and more! We had a really good day down there. Highly recommend it.

“Take the water taxi”
Reviewed 16 June 2013

My wife and I always stay at the Riverside Hotel right in the middle of Las Olas when we visit Fort Lauderdale. My wife and I took the water taxi last year during a visit to Fort Lauderdale and really enjoyed it. On this trip to Fort Lauderdale we decided to spend more time on the water taxi so we could stop at most of the thirteen stops that they stop at. We walked down to their office and purchased a three day pass for two people for $99 which is a $21 saving over their normal rate. We started fairly early each morning and came home on their last departure every night which was around 11:30 pm. This is one of the few ways to see the beautiful yachts and mansions on the intra-coastal and to learn about them and who owns them. We actually went on the water taxi for an additional two more days. Five straight days on the water taxi! My wife enjoyed just being on the water all day getting sun and relaxing. We both highly recommend taking the water taxi for at least one full day.

“Stroll along historical Las Olas Boulevard !”
Reviewed 8 May 2013

Park you vehicle in the Andrews Avenue multi-story parking garage and stroll this beautiful center of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Sit by the ever-changing water art, watch the yachts as they go through the historical Andrews Avenue bridge, stroll on down Las Olas and stop in at the Cheesecake Factory for delectable dessert and coffee...need I say more ?--Enjoy !!

“Stroll along the river”
Reviewed 4 May 2013

This is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the waterway. Unfortunately, as others have said what use to be great stores, restaurants and movie theater are closed so that section seems like a ghost town.
However, the walk is still lovely and well taken care of. There were a couple of restaurants on the river which folks were enjoying. This is a good place to visit to learn about Ft. Lauderdale's history as well.

“Nice on a Sunday afternoon.”
Reviewed 18 April 2013

Sunday is not as busy as Friday and Saturday. I love it when they have live music bands. Especially when in the coolest and breezy months like Jan- April.
