“Small, but good happy hour”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

I would recommend Pelican Landing for happy hour (5-7 and 1/2 price appetizers, wine, rail and beer), but would not recommend it for a full dinner. I am not a seafood eater, and there is not much on the menu for those not wishing to indulge in seafood. The atmosphere is very casual, with great views, the drinks are good, and the service is great, but overall, I found the food average. It is also a small restaurant, so be prepared to wait for a table. It also closes at 10, so not a place to spend an evening.

“Absolutely lovely”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

We had dinner here and what I loved most was the outdoor seating, watching the bridge go up, the sound of the dock as the boats bumped about. Food was great too ... but the whole experience was what made it great - not just the food.

“Great view, very good food, low priced”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

Pelican sits on the dock surrounded by extreme yachts. The buzz at dinner was the massive yacht blocking the view of one side of the waterfront entirely (Google attributed to Steven Spielberg). The restaurant was half empty on a Wednesday evening.

I had a catch-of-the-day blackened swordfish on a salad that was excellent. Appetizers were also very good...especially the plantain chips and ceviche.

I thought the Margaritas were better than the Mojito. Can see how this spot would be a lot of fun on weekend.

“Great food, beautiful view!”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

Just had a fantastic lunch at Pelican Landing! We'd had dinner during a previous visit to FLL, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking at night. Each visit the food was perfecto. Good size portions. This time we had the seafood chowder and the fish burrito --excellent! This one is a must-do for our next visit.
