We booked this hotel on Hotwire for about $45 all in for the one night, and found it to be a good value for what we paid. The front desk service was very friendly and we actually found the room, beds and bathroom to be very clean. Our room had tile and not carpet, and the room had clearly been recently renovated. The hotel offers a free shuttle van to the Airport and Cruiseport, however it only runs to the airport until 10:00 pm. We arrived at 10:30 pm, and so we had to pay for a Taxi (approximately $20) from the airport to hotel, which was a bit of a drag. The restaurant on-site was open late, which was convenient for us, but offered very mediocre fast food and fairly unfriendly service with high prices. They also add on a tip automatically, so beware of this. Overall, the hotel grounds could have been cleaner, and there were a few suspicious characters hanging around on the hotel grounds, but that said, we never feared for our safety and there was a good presence of hotel staff on the grounds. On the night we stayed, we saw police at the hotel a couple of times (no idea for what), and yes, there are trucks in the parking lot which idol overnight. This hotel is what it is - a 1 or 2 star motel, essentially, and while it is not by any means luxurious, we found it to be a good value for what we paid.

Room Tip: A room on the second floor or above is less noisy.

Customer service was absolutely excellent. the front desk personnel were always pleasant and friendly.....but the biggest problem was while there was hot water everday, little critters visited me in my room every day as well. there were bugs all in the bathroom. they were also in the sink area. not pleasant at all. and the people next door were constantly fighting and smoking which leaked through the walls of my nonsmoking room.

and on top of it ..the guy on reception was so rude .
i asked him can you please give me a room where pest control is done...
and he said ..we don't have any rooms like that...
and he was like...we don't have any pests here....where i saw and killed at least 3-4...

First of all, I was under the impression that I could leave my car at the hotel (motel) while on my cruise, but was told that was not available. What exactly does "Guest parking is complimentary" mean then? The staff was not very courteous and the room smelled horrible. Every time the AC would come on, there was this weird odor. I should have paid more at another place where I could have left my car for a week (at NO charge!), and could've been shuttled to the port. Instead, I paid $105 to leave my car at the port and spent a night in a horrible motel that didn't even have a refrigerator in it!!

Room Tip: Find another hotel!!!
