I have stayed at Tranquilo for one week and really enjoyed it. The room was new and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, specially Bianca and Amanda from the front desk. I recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting Fort Lauderdale.

My husband and I stayed here one day before our cruise and one day after. This place is very clean and the staff was EXCELLANT ! We are definitely going to use them next year again. Loved the location. Two blocks from the ocean. Very nice. The rooms are very spacious. We had a king size and a queen size bed. A kitchenette and two pools.

This Hotel is super clean and we even thought it was soundproofed also but you can hear chairs scrapping above. The staff were wonderful and helped out in every sense of the word. They printed our boarding passes and directed us where to go. It would be one of the best and cleanest places we've ever stayed at and we also liked the position, one street from the beach. If I lived closer we'd be back. One thing though, we would have liked security screens on the windows so as to leave the windows open rather than use the air conditioning all the time. I'm not sure about staying there in the summer though. I wouldn't like their power bill. But in all it was a great stay. Keep up the good work guys and gals!!!

Room Tip: Not the corner rooms as the doors open out onto each other.

Even the best reviews do not do this place justice. Great room, awesome location and even better staff even the housekeeping were helpful. The staff played with my daughter in their office and made her stay a whole lot of fun. I never write reviews, but these guys deserve that and more. I will be back with my family for sure.

Perfect location for Fort Lauderdale Beach. In a restored 50s property with a couple of nice pools. Pros: clean, tidy, generally quiet (you can hear footsteps of guests above you on the bottom floor rooms though). In room coffee is standard but with a boutique hotel such as this it would be nice to have a brewed coffee set-up near the pool in the morning. What could be better: I stayed here a week and the furnishings are simple, Ikea style. Plenty of pilows and towels. Pillows and sheets could feel a bit less stiff. My light flickered the entire week and was always on when I left the room and returned and housekeeping never noticed?. Not sure if that was a fixture or other issue. Overall a nice stay in a clean and tidy room and great location. I'd recommend it.

We had booked this hotel for one night during the boat show, but they upgraded us to the Tranquillo across the street, which the company also owns. One of the rooms was a large spacious suite upstairs with a view of the pool and a large kitchen Staff was very courteous and helpful, and the motel is only two blocks to the beach and a commercial area. Would definitely stay here again.

One note: There were four of us traveling together, each with a suitcase, (had come off a cruise). The evening before we were to leave, (the next morning), I asked the lady at the desk about getting a taxi the next morning which would either be a mini-van or Crown Vic, (the large Fords, common as taxis), as we had the luggage. She recommended a car-hire and arranged for it at $45 plus tip to the Ft. Laud. Airport. While we were waiting for the car-hire the next morning, a Crown Vic taxi pulls up and, out of curiosity, I asked the fare to the airport- $20 plus tip, so we proceeded to load the luggage and us into the taxi.. Advice: take a taxi, it’s half the price of the car hire.

Room Tip: We really liked the corner upstairs room at the Tranquillo, (across the street). Spacious, good ligh...
