“peaceful and charming place to stay”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

We were supposed to stay for one night and ended up staying 2 nights before the cruise and coming back after the cruise for one more day.We didn't spend much time in our room though it was spacious and comfortable with kitchen and a small cosy pool outside.
The staff is awesome and they will make their best to make your wishes come true.Parking is free outside the hotel. The beach is just 5 minute walking.
We spent one entire day at Sawgrass Mills Outlet just a few miles away by car and another visiting the museum and gardens( bonnet museum) the then the city by taxi-boat.
When we first arrived I was not well impressed with the street and surroundings, kind of deserted but I soon changed my mind and I will definitely come again.

Room Tip: If you're travelling with luggage it´s better to stay next to the pool. We tayed there twice in...

mtemaximo,
Maybe next time you can skip the cruise and spend your vacation with us! Thanks so much for choosing Tranquilo. You're right, the location is great. Just minutes away from the beach, you can wake up to the ocean every morning! There are a lot of great shops nearby and with room choices that include one bedroom suites with full kitchens, it's easy to stay for an extended period of time. We're looking forward to your next visit! Thanks, Maryam

I come to FLL for business once a quarter and I now stay at this recently opened property.
Rooms are spacious, some have a small kitchen. Just a block walk from the beach.
Property ground is very clean, and staff is awesome. Highly recommended!

I was a bit concerned when we walked down the street. Boy was I wrong on my first thoughts. Very nice unit and was equipped with everything we would need for a short or long visit. I even said I could stay here for the entire winter. Very nice and the staff were wonderful. Great area of town that is redeveloping and so close to the beach. Room 100 was great.

IndySig,
Thanks so much for the 5 star review! You're right, with 3 different room choices, including one bedroom suites with full kitchens and living rooms, you really could stay here for the entire winter. Please give us a call and let us plan a your long term stay. Wake up to the ocean every morning! What could be better than that? Hope to see you soon, NBV

Good location, especially for us who arrived on a late flight and spent the entire next day at Sawgrass Mills Outlet. We stayed for two nights and the only time we spent in our room was to sleep.
Parking is free outside the hotel. Wi-Fi is also free, but for some reason you can only use one device at a time.
The room was large and with two spacious and comfortable beds. There was a kitchen/dining area and even two TV-sets.
Otherwise, location of the hotel seems a bit off. It probably suits those who want a peaceful location and want to stay close to the beach (the beach is within walking distance and the hotel has two pools to choose from).

Anra500,
We're happy that we could warm you up from the Swedish winter! Thanks for mentioning the location. Tranquilo is just minutes from the shops, restaurants and the ocean but tucked far enough away from the noise, allowing guests a peaceful relaxing stay! Thanks so much for your review.

We booked this place after reading all the good reviews. It might be a good place if everything works. If it doesnt, the service is lacking. First we got checked in to a room with a broken zink. We realized it when the whole bathroom was flooded. But instead of moving us to another room we had to wait two hours for someone to fix this. This might be alright, but it's a problem when you have a oneyearold that needs to be bathed and put to bed. We didnt get any excuse or compensation for this. Today the toilet broke down and flooded the bathroom with poopwater, disguisting. We told the reception and they promised to take care of it. When we returned to the room, 4 hours later the problem was fixed but to mess on the floor was still there. We left again and returned several hours later to find it still there. Can you realize the smell?! We felt really disappointed, especially since we left a big tip for the cleaners feeling sorry for them. Conclusion: this is not the hotel to choose if you want a vacation that is guaranteed free from problems.

Tranquilo exceeded all expectations! This cute little bouquet hotel was perfect! Due to last minute changes, I needed an inexpensive hotel near the beach within walking distance of other hotels nearby. The front desk was amazing! I was allowed to check in early, and unwind before I was scheduled to meet up with the rest of the wedding party. The room was very spacious and clean. The décor really added the final touches. Even though the beach was only 2 block away, I found myself starting the day off at the pool. Call me crazy, but it’s the Arizona in me…. We love our pools! Side note – watch out for the young frogs!

We can not say enough good things! The room was clean, huge and fully equipped in the kitchen. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure every wish was granted. We made great friends during our stay with a lovely British couple and another Swedish couple. It was like being in our own home, sharing this special time with family, old friends, and new friends! Thank you everyone at Tranquilo for making our Christmas holiday so special! Now we have a special place in Ft. Lauderdale to call home. Planning our next trip back!
