Bar none, best shower ever! Great water pressure and amount of water. Beds are comfy. Rooms spacious, clean, beautiful ocean view. Breakfast continental buffet was good as was Eggs Benedict. Quiet location compared to tourist madness further south, but still very walkable. For nightlife, W is two blocks south. Living Room on 3rd floor at W was nice for a weeknight evening. Highly recommend Casablanca Cafe, also just a few blocks south.

Stayed for 5 days (including the 4july) in a lovely suite on 12 th floor. I thought we were booking a suite on the beach, so disappointed to get there and see a busy road between us and the beautiful beach, decided to continue to stay as the suite was fantastic. The views were beautiful, and the guy Fawkes on the 4th was a high light. Pretty expensive for this area, although I understand it was a popular spot and time. Excellent pool Area.

Room Tip: If you can afford a suite then try them, they are stunning.

My husband and I were there celebrating my birthday. The hotel staff were excellent and gave us the royal treatment! Jarvis at the front desk, Sheryl the Concierge, Vince and Katherine from the pool bar/restaurant all gave us outstanding service and were very accommodating, as well as other staff members! The hotel is very nice and you could not ask for a better location on the beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the restaurant had great food and the valet service was impeccable. When we called down for our car, by the time we got to the lobby our car was there. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning for my birthday next year, if not sooner. We highly recommend this hotel and give it Two Thumbs Up!!! Connie E.

This hotel is at a very good location and maybe the highlight is the fantastic view we had from the ocean ( 14th floor ). Rooms are pleasant, bright and clean ( King Studio ) and the bathroom is large and well equipped. The dark side of Atlantic Resort is the internet connection which was a disaster, despite the maintenance from a useless “technician” . Breakfast service was very irregular; one day excellent, next day nobody even looked at us. The valet parking is obligatory, at a extra cost and we spent too much waiting time during our vacation to get the car delivered. Sorry it’s not four stars !!

My wife and I were in Lauderdale for an afternoon funeral and we decided to stay in town for the night.A family member recommended this hotel for it's first class service. We called the hotel and spoke to the front desk manager and he gave us a good room rate(oceanfront view king suite) 200.00+Tax and parking. The hotel employees were attentive and courteous. The room was fabulous and the bed was comfortable.I travel to south Florida on business a few times a year and this will be my go to hotel in the future.Great job folks!

We stayed 2 nights pre-cruise at the Atlantic Resort. We stumbled upon an internet "special sale" and got 2 king ocean-front rooms for just under $200/night each which was amazing for this place. Here's what I liked and didn't like:

Liked:
Great location, away from the crowds and noise a few blocks south near the Ritz, but close enough to walk to restaurants and CVS.
Spacious room, huge bathroom, beautiful view, kitchenette including sink, fridge, microwave and 4-burner stove!
Had lunch at the pool bar and breakfast in the restaurant. Both were great although a little pricey, but that's to be expected.
Staff is ALL over-the-top nice, friendly, eager to help.
Had a pedicure in the spa. Service was wonderful and receptionist even took $15 off my tab because she felt there was some disruptive noise at the front desk. I had not complained!! Very sweet.
Workout room is well-equipped and has a great view.

Didn't like:
As another reviewer noted, rooms at the end of each floor stick out further from the building and therefore have better view. But those rooms seem to be smaller. We booked 2 king ocean-view rooms at same price, but one had a large sitting area with 2 oversized chairs and a desk while the other room barely had space for the king bed and nothing else. Strange.

Bathroom is spectacular, but after showering you'll find there is nowhere to hang your towel. I hope they will read this and add more towel hooks...perhaps on the back of the bathroom door?

We walked around the pool area around 9pm one evening and the mess from the afternoon had not yet been cleaned up. When we walked around again at 9am the next morning, the same mess was still there...used towels, empty drink cups and beer cans, etc. This is a beautiful resort and all other areas were spotless...where was the staff to pick up the trash and straighten the chairs?

Also note that the beds here are VERY soft, softer than any other hotel I've ever stayed at. Some people like that. For me it means back pain that lasts for days. I was miserable. But that's just a matter of personal preference.

One other item which is not the fault of the resort: just be aware that there is a steep fee for chair rental at the beach. 2 lounge chairs with cushions + 1 umbrella cost us $50. Ouch.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Atlantic and would definitely stay again. We had stayed previously at the Westin a few blocks south and felt that Atlantic was a much better value.

This hotel was a delight to stay in. The decor of the outside and inside was done just right. The suite we stayed in was so spacious, the bathroom was huge. The view was great, which was on the 10th floor facing north. The kitchenette was also a big plus. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. The amenities, like the fitness center, was very modern and had the top of the line equipment. The pool (5th floor) is small but accommodating with great views of the ocean and the strip. The main restaurant was not too expensive and had a good selection and very good food. This is one place that I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Room Tip: The city/ocean view rooms are best so you can see the water and the city lights. Pick the north side...
