We had eaten here 9 years ago when we were in Fort Lauderdale and had a wonderful time. We were hoping our expectations could be me again and boy were they. We arrived right at 5pm with our kids and were greeted by a nice gentleman. We chose to sit on the lower deck near the water. What a good choice as the breeze really cooled the area.

Our server, Kenneth, was wonderful. We were going to order the Frescobaldi Chianti but he recommended a different wine. He even said if we didn't like we could get the Frescobaldi instead. We loved it. The garlic bread along with the tomatoes and olives were a nice start. We ordered the calamari and the caprese and fresh mozzarella. The mozzarella is made fresh daily and it was delicious. We ordered the calamari with the spicy sauce on the side for the kids but order it mixed with it if you like spicy. The calamari was the most flavorful and tender we've had. Just like we remembered. We spent the week in the Florida keys and this was our best calamari of the trip.

For dinner we ordered the pork chop special - Fabulous, the salmon special -delicious, gnocchi - my daughter loved it, and a great looking pizza for my son. After all this food we still had room for a delicious piece of tiramisu and our new favorite - oven cooked pear with port wine reduction sauce with ice cream. Delicious.

A special thanks to Kenneth who helped make our evening out with the kids an even more wonderful experience. We hope we don't have to wait another 9 years before returning.

Thank Mike B

Decived by the meal and the service. Be aware: they give you the specials of the day but with nothing written: you will be surprise by the price of your meal if you don't ask in advance....To much garlic everywhere, even on my fish, that i asked without garlic...
My advice: try something else.

We liked that they had an all inclusive dinner which includes yummy warm bread. For $29.95 you can choose a salad or appetizer, entree (I had chicken marsala and it was excellent) and a dessert. Portions were just right and even had leftovers. We sat outside along the sidewalk and people watched. Compared to how pricey all of the other Italian restaurants were, this was an excellent value.

What a nice restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted by the owner and as we sat at the bar awaiting our friends we met his father who is still involved - truly family owned and operated. We sat in their courtyard which was really nice. Ahhh, the food; great pasta (and I got spoiled by enjoying pasta in Italy on several visits there). I had the Ravioli with braised short ribs and a mushroom sauce. Fantastic. The garlic bread is out of this world wonderful. My wife had their Branzini fish and she razed over that. Our friends had the Lobster ravioli - they were equally thrilled. And our server (can't for get him) was very nice, fun and extremely knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back again.
