“Great place to eat, people watch and relax”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Indigo is one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and we usually go there every time we are there. The entertainment is first class outside and draws a crowd just by their personalities! The singers interact with the guests making sure each one hears songs they like.
Of course, it is a restaurant so the food is probably the most important factor. There is a wide range of items available and sharing is allowed! The wine list is good and the waiters friendly . All in all a fun place on Las Olas Blvd. for a casual evening.

“Beyond sad”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

We tried to eat at the Indigo Restaurant twice without success. We tried for a late dinner and was told we have to sit in the bar area because they were short staff and eating in the dining room would be a very long wait. We chose to eat somewhere else. We decide to try again for breakfast. We were quickly seated in the dining room; however, we asked for a table on the side instead of in the middle of the room. Reluctantly, they complied. After sitting for 10 minutes, and seeing others being served, we asked a staff to find our waiter. He finally arrived and we got coffee. He took our order for a continental breakfast and left. We waited, and waited, and then we saw our waiter again and ask him what the problem was. He said that they were busy and he would get to us soon. After another wait and still no food we left and went across the street to an Italian Pastry Shop and had a lovely continental breakfast. Stay away from Indigo Restaurant. It is the worse place and with lackadaisical staffs.

“Always Nice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2014

Though our visits to FL are brief and infrequent we always find ourselves having lunch at Indigo. Coming from Chicago we always opt to sit outside when practical.

Lunch menu has something to offer for everyone. Staff and service very nice. Food very good.

Enjoy watching the traffic on Las Olas. Everyone in FL seems to have a very nice car. Very convenient to Water Taxi stop #3 at 9th Ave.

“Empty restaurant with no view .”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2014

We visited this restaurant in the Riverside Hotel. The front of the hotel overlooking the road was busy but as it was chilly that night we opted for inside. There were only a few other people in at the same time and the place felt rather desolate. The poor waiter seemed to be serving outside as well as inside and therefore we didn't see much of him. They forgot my side dish and when I eventually attracted someone's attention to ask for it, they brought it quite quickly however by then I'd nearly finished. We didn't feel like staying for any dessert which was a shame as the food was quite good.

“Great sidewalk dining with fair food and stretched service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2014

The sidewalk dining with fresh linen on Las Olas is fantastic. The bar puts out very good cocktails. But the food is a complete disappointment. One of my buddies had a steak that was laugh out loud tough. Our server was very kind, but she was stretched so thin that I worried she would drop. So, it's probably a good place to have a drink and people watch. But, I'd skip eating here. I am not a food/gourmet - but I do know a rushed and bad kitchen when I'm eating from one...
