“We love this place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

We always enjoy going to La Bamba and go at least once every 2 weeks. The staff is always nice and friendly. The food is always consistent. This is one of those places we take friends just to relax. The place is great.

“Not Fresh, Greasy Salty dishes..”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

The quality of the dishes they are putting out, the prices should be half of what they ask. The smothered burrito without all the nasty sauce and cheese they put on top is simply a tortilla filled with lettuce and tomatoes. The staff was rude and the restaurant was dark and dingy. Not a place I will ever go back to.

“Not up to their usual standards”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

We always get the Pollo La Plancha when coming to La Bamba as it has been a favorite for years. We mixed in a few other dishes this time and while it was good, the chicken was a little over done and it just wasn't as great as we have had before. I hope it was just a bit of an off night because it is a favorite place.

“GREAT PRICE, FOOD AND PORTIONS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

We travel to Florida often and La Bamba is a great place to go for Mexican food. It’s a chain, but the food is very authentic. Not your usual tacos etc. Lots of dishes served with black beans and white rice, with fried plantains. I think it’s Monday’s? but it may be all week days, they have half price pitchers of margaritas. The food is reasonably priced, with large portions, free fresh chips and salsa come to your table and you will be stuffed when you leave. This place is pretty busy ..I wonder why? It’s an excellent dinning choice in the area that won’t break your bank with a festival atmosphere.

“Not my Richieeeeeeeeeee!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

Food here definitely does not make you want to sing or dance. I have yet to find an authentic Mexican Restaurant since leaving San Antonio, Texas.
I will say that the Margaritas are nice and strong, however they have really strange flavors like banana and peach and won't let you mix flavors. I'll maybe have to try happy hour but other than that for 1 margarita and a chat up a plate and chicken and rice, you will pay about 40 bucks. It's nothing to write home to mom about.
