Description: Located oceanfront, in the hub of Fort Lauderdale Beach, Tsukuro blends Asian cuisine with global flavors to deliver a wide range of fares. Featuring a raw bar brimming with fresh seasonal ocean treasures, a variety of fresh sushi, sashimi and rolls, the menu is complemented by small and large plates for sharing, ranging from traditional favorites like Korean BBQ Ribs to Chinese-style Roasted Duck to playful takes on classics with Slow-Braised Oxtail Spring Rolls and Thai-Chili Whole Fish. A thoughtful selection of wine, sake, tea, beer and signature cocktails brings harmonious balance to the umami (savory) culinary offerings.

The restaurant "Tsukuro" is a really nice place to eat.
The decoration is beautiful and design (with comfy chairs, wood and lights everywhere).
The waiters are very friendly and our waitress advised us about some meals to choose.
All the orders are made immediately by the chef. It is VERY FRESH.
In the menu, you can choose some sushis/sashimis, some raw fish, some rolls, some entrees (meat, fish), some sides, and some small plates and even some caviar!
My husband ate the shrimp/scallop ceviche (super good and super hot too, due to a lot of jalopenos), the shrimp fried rice (very good) and ate a guava/mango cake for dessert (yummy).
I ate wild mushrooms (very tasty), a riceless roll (made with tuna and avocado, very good) and the shrimp cocktail (5 jumbo shrimps). The bill was about 100US$ (with a glass of wine).
It is true that the prices are expensive, but the quality and the "experience" are worth it!
I strongly recommend this restaurant!

Located on the Beach Boulevard this restaurant stands out. The 4 different types of sushi
that we ordered were outstanding,as was the wine selection. Many patrons were happily sipping
down those huge glasses of mixed drinks. Our waiter was attentive and polite, but gave us time
alone for conversation. Seating choices were available inside or bordering the sidewalk. Great
views of the Ocean front and the foot traffic. For a special treat stop here.

I was really looking forward to going for the first time as i always drive by it on my way home from work and it looks very pretty... it is in fact a very pretty restaurant, classy, love the decor and the food is tasty... but portions are really tiny!!!! really really tiny and expensive... i don't think i want to ever go back, even though the services was good and i liked the food, i don't think it was worth the money! there are a lot other restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale with excellent food and not that expensive.

We ordered three different sushi and we thought they were one the best we've had. Over the moon was just delicious! You could say it was on the more expensive but we left the restaurant happy. Service was good and Chris (only server on our trip who said his name) was kind.

Wow! This place was a complete joke! First they wouldn't honor the 10% yelp discount. Saying their daily special was the discount (which was the hh deal). Second the owner wasn't Asian or Japanese! He was extremely rude and refused to even be sincere when I let him know the California roll had crab cartilage throughout the roll and left an extremely bad fishy taste in my mouth! This was a huge turn off. The happy hour martini drinks were $14.00 each and made with well vodka. The first drink was red and the second was clear. Yikes! I Wouldn't waste your money at this dump when you can get authentic, real Asian/sushi elsewhere!

Good morning Nicole -
We're sorry your recent visit to Tsukuro was disappointing, but your review allows us to clear up many misconceptions you present about our restaurant - and we appreciate the opportunity to clear this up for you and others.

Yelp - Our Yelp deal, as will all deals, does not permit double discounts, or offers to be combined. Since it sounds like you may have taken advantage of our 7/7/7 Happy Hour - the discount is already 20% - 40%. Actually it had expired on March 31 - but thanks for pointing it out so we could update it to April/May.

Our owners are not on property, ever, and actually away on vacation. And while they are not Asian/Japanese, we didn't feel that would need to be a prerequisite, considering they are not the ones doing the actual cooking.

I cannot speak to any crab cartilage in your California Roll - we have an expert sushi team and never had a complain like this before.

Our Well Martini's - which are a part of our Happy Hour 777 Special - are not $14.00 - we do not offer a 2-4-1 on them. The well cocktails are $8 and reduced to $7 when your order any combination of 3 items from our 777 Happy Hour Menu composed of 7 appetizers/small plates and 7 drinks for 7 hours ( 11-6 weekdays). The only 2-4-1 offer we have on drinks is our jumbo margaritas and frozen daiquiris.
