We went there for 3 nights with our 2 young children for spring break. We stayed at the executive suite so when the kids asleep, my husband and I can still have time to ourselves. The suite has a very generous size of living room. It has a round dinning table, side table, coffee table, sleep sofa and 2 night stands. There are also 2 flat screen TVs, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. I believe each room has a balcony and some face the pool, beach or garden. At least for the executive suite, all the rooms are very spacious and clean.
The hotel is not the contemporary style but a little old glamour. It gives you a cozy and quaint feel. And the staff from the front desk to the attendant at the beach are all very friendly and helpful. I only had 1 minor negative experience at the restaurant with one of the servers but all the other encounters were wonderful.
The hotel really go out of their way to make there guests feel comfortable and relax. They provide plenty activities for the kids from miniature golf to floor chess board and they also have a small playground with hammocks. There are also variety types of restaurants so you can either get a quick bite like hamburger at the cafe or nice dinning with sit down restaurant.
The food at their restaurant is awesome and delicious! Their desserts are yummy and they aren't skimpy on the portion. My husband had their Italian one night and he thought was really good. The price is reasonable as well, it is about ~$20/entry. The breakfast buffet isn't super big but it has plenty of varieties to choose from. They also make fresh egg benedict at the griddle.
The best part of the hotel is the beach. It is clean and wide. There are plenty beach chairs. You don't have to cross the street, it is right behind the hotel. The pool is a good size and I believe it is heated.
By the time we were leaving, my son already requested for us to come back again for next spring break! I second of that. :)
