We have stayed here on a number of occasions due to it's very central and convenient location. It is extremely busy due to the cruise ship traffic at the weekends and company incentive trips during the week. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but several times we have had to ask for tea and coffee supplies as there were none in the room.
My husband particularly dislikes the sliding bathroom doors although the complimentary toiletries are good quality. The doors to the rooms are not sound proofed and you can hear every noise from the corridors or maybe that is due to the large gap under the doors. The air conditioning works well and the balconies have a good view . If you are lucky to get the breakfast buffet at the China Grill included in the room rate, it is well worth it, otherwise the breakfast bar in the Atrium is overpriced and poor. Parking is expensive ($20 plus). We want to like this hotel but it could be better.

Dear guest,

We certainly value your continued loyalty to us and are glad you find our location convenient for your needs in the area. Your feedback about the noise is very helpful and we've asked our maintenance team to take a look at the issue to see how we can correct it. We appreciate your business and sincerely hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel in the future. We will ensure that a quiet room is waiting for you.

Kind regards,

We stayed at this facility for two nights before a cruise in November of 2012. Our room in the Tower was clean, modern, and quiet, with a beautiful balcony view of the pool and the intercoastal. We found the location to be very convenient to the airport, the cruise terminal, and local restaurants. I thought the yachts docked surrounding the hotel were interesting to see, and it was fun to walk up to the top of the bridge and watch ships depart.

I am an early riser, and so I went down to the water early in the morning to watch the cruise ships arrive. I was a bit uncomfortable out there at dawn as there were some homeless men sleeping in one of the hotel's gazebos.

The one sour note of our stay has to do with food...our dinner at the China Grill (which I'll review separately), was very poor, and the coffee and continental breakfast offerings in the hotel were overpriced, even by hotel standards.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the tower...they are more recently renovated.

My wife and I came to the hilton on May 12th 2013 on our honeymoon , We arrived in Ft Lauderdale and the only thing consistant about that city is everyone's poor attitude even the swedish lady at the front desk of the hilton gave my newly wife and I attitude. I have rated my experience excellent due to our concierge ROSSEL who made our arrival warm and welcoming along with our departure. The entire 4 days we stayed in Ft. Lauderdale were terrible when it came to local people's attitude and rudeness although the experience with ROSSEL will be one I will always remember. Also this hotel is very nice and clean .

This hotel is at the entrance to the cruise line terminals and has no shuttle service. Less than 1 mile away. For the rate they charge for a hotel room, they charge $20 per person for breakfast. Unbelievable. Would not recommend to anyone.

Dear guest,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We certainly appreciate your feedback, as we regularly evaluate our amenities and pricing. Please be aware that we do offer a cruise package which includes transporation to the cruise ship port and breakfast. Apart from this package, we also offer our Bed and Breakfast package, which includes breakfast in the price of the room. If we are able to create a package that will best suit your needs, please let us know, as we are delighted to find ways to go above and beyond and exceed expectations. If you are back in the Fort Lauderdale area, we certainly hope that we may have another opportunity to regain your trust in our hotel.

Because of the location on the intercostal, this hotel has potential but.... the rooms are really worn and not very clean. There was mid-length dark hair stuck to the shower tile.... not my hair. The rain shower head leaked and therefore dripped all night, splashing and making the floor wet. As a long standing Hilton Diamond member, I had hoped for a bit more from a Hilton, I've been in Hampton Inns that put this place to shame.

The outside bar was very pricey, and the menu limited. The China Grill was also pricey, and they allow patrons to smoke the "electric" cigarettes which still gave a "smoke" odor. Guess the establishment knows their guests are captive because without walking a good distance or driving, their dining areas are the only game in town.

The perfect place to stay while in Fort Lauderdale. Everyone was so kind and attentive to our needs. Sitting waterside at G bar was an awesome way to spend time having a delicious lunch. I highly reccomend this hotel and I will be returning on my next visit
