After a weeks sailing on the Oasis of the Seas we decided to extend our trip one more day by staying at the Harbor Beach. We arrived early and right away you felt welcomed and comfortable. From the guys grabbing the luggage to the doorman everyone was warm and welcoming. They even have little bottles of water on ice at the main entrance. Since we arrived early we were given a card with an account # (room was not ready) and some pool towel cards and were given a map of the property. The guy checking us in showed us where everything was at and took our cell number to call us when the room was ready. Also there is a STARBUCKS in the lobby. Now for anyone who loves this place as much as we do it is a definite bonus.

We left our bags with the bell man and headed straight for the pool. WOW. The pool was HUGE and the area around was so nice. Tons of loungers and umbrellas to choose from. If you are staying her I would recommend getting there by 10 or so. The pool is not only used for hotel guests but they also have a Marriot Beach Club membership program. This is for locals that pay an annual fee for access to the pool and beach. So by 11 am or so all of the good seats were gone.

We decided to have lunch at the hotels bar and grill and it was rally good. Service was great and food was awesome. Just a tip try the fish tacos. Some of the best I have ever had. We sat out over looking the ocean which was really nice. Service was good and overall it was really nice.

Also while sitting around the pool they have servers walking around to get you food or drinks. Just simply raise the flag on your chair and someone comes right over. We did order stuff later in the day and that was nice. There was also a security person checking room keys for pool access. I was very impressed by that. Another awesome thing they did around 3 pm was made an announcement that there was free cookies and lemonade by the pool stand. Both the drink and cookies were so good. A real treat by a first class place.

Our room was ready rather quickly and we could have been in there quicker but the phone call from the front desk went unanswered bc HER phone died from over usage! (LOL). We grabed our bags from the bellman and headed up to our room of the 14th floor facing the ocean. (1429). Our first impression was really good. Room was clean and updated with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, stocked mini fridge and nice TV. What made it even better was the view. It was perfect. I would suggest anyone staying there to pay for the ocean view its worth it. You get a great view of the ocean, pool, grounds and you can even see the cruise ships leaving port. We decided to walk down the beach to see them leave but the room would have been nice too.

We were also given a great recommendation from the concierge for dinner. Usually they give you so so places but (I believe his name was Mark) he gave us a great spot. I think it was a $10 dollar cab ride to the "hip strip". We had a early flight and the when we made our way to the looby it was nice to see staffers out and about helping the early departures. We were put into a van $20 dollar flat rate and were sent off to the airport.

In closing I know this place charges a lot per night but in my opinion you get what you pay for. This place was first class and actually kind of reminded me of the a place in Maui. Kudos to the staff and whoever the GM is because they have their stuff together.

One tip I would to give to the management. The water pressure in the room shower was not good. Since I manage commercial real estate for a living maybe look into a booster pump on the domestic water line to get some more pressure for the upper floors.

But stay at this place you wont be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are the best. We stayed in 1429 and it was perfect. Views of everything.

We made a quick trip and it was great. Standard marriott rooms, nice pool and beach, close to airport and off the strip which we enjoyed. Luis Horta the Rec host on the beach was amazing and always looking out for the kids and the sun! Drinks and such were spendy but great service. Helen in the kids club was also amazing and my daughter had a wonderful few days crafting and making friends.

Room Tip: We upgraded to an ocean view balcony which was worth it but the ones on the third floor have a wall so made it difficult to see when sitting.

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel and can't wait to return! This hotel is simply outstanding. Great service, beautiful grounds and perfect location. The food is first rate throughout the resort and the folks working behind the bar make you feel at home.

I can't say enough great things about this property....

This was our third time staying at this hotel. Although we enjoyed our first two trips this trip was by far the best because the staff was wonderful. We noticed a big change from 4 years ago. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and accommodating. A special thanks to Ghada in Riva. Ghada was so friendly and sweet and accommodating- an excellent server who went above and beyond. Rosa at Riva was also very accommodating and literally ran all over to quickly find us some paper napkins and a special shout out to the staff on the beach in charge of the chairs and umbrellas. They were all terrific, especially Cardo who went out of his way to make me feel special on my birthday by setting up chairs, umbrellas, towels pads and had them all waiting for us and even brought me birthday balloons . We totally enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change is the fact that they do not have queen beds in the rooms. Double beds are tough especially if you are tall.

Spent 5 nights in a 2 double bed room with 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 10 and 11 and had an overall good stay. Perks were free lemon/orange water by the pool and an occasional chocolate chip cookie as well as samplings from their restaurant given out in the lobby. Service was good although no one seems to move too fast and maybe half the staff felt genuinely happy to serve you. One day we didn't have our room cleaned until about 4:00 and another time had to wait while they finished cleaning around 1:00. The resort does nickel and dime at every turn and we felt rather captive there as we didn't have a car. Having poolside service was nice and the food was good, so what we saved in reward points and AAA discounts on the room got spent there. Overall good atmosphere for a family and the location can't be beat. Having access to the beach was ideal and we took advantage of the parasailing and the concierge helped with suggesting other activities and how to get around. There are parts of the property that don't get the attention such as the empty cabanas by the tennis courts and some outdoor seating was taken up by smokers which can be unpleasant walking past to get to the lobby area. If you're looking to spend some family time here, go for it and enjoy yourselves. Just be prepared to shell out more to eat and play while here.
