“Free parking, Quiet hotel”
Reviewed 1 February 2012

We had a great experience here. The desk clerk was very nice during check in, parking and wifi were free. The room was clean and very nice. When we opened the patio doors, there was a lot of traffic noise, but with the patio door closed, the room was very quiet. I would stay here again. We paid about $115 including taxes thru price line.

Stayed here enroute to the cruise port. We had booked a non smoking room with a pull out sofa bed. The first room we were put in was a full on smoking room - it was disgusting. It also had two double beds only. After speaking with the front desk, we were moved to another room a few floors higher. It still smelled - but not as badly and also was two double beds. We were then politely informed that the room we requested was not available. We arrived at 1230am - the restaurant in the hotel closed at 11pm and there was nothing within a 15minute walk along what seemed like a shady area. Breakfast was way overpriced so we opted to walk the 15mins to a local diner. This is hotel is not close to the cruise port! I would stay near the Ft Lauderdale airport and pay a taxi if you are heading on a cruise. The boarding process at the hotel was chaos and a waste of two hours that could have been spent exploring or sleeping!

We stayed at this hotel before leaving on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. Our flight came in around 2 or 3 in the morning, so we paid for an extra night since we knew we would want to check into the hotel and sleep before check in at 3 the following day. When we arrived they said that they were sold out and they canceled our reservation because we did not show up before 11pm. We had called to notify them that we would not be in until early morning and even verified this with the hotel before we left for Florida. We were a group of 6 with 3 different rooms. Some how they were able to find 3 rooms after they had just told us they were completely booked. We got off to a rocky start but after that we had a great stay. Hotel was beautiful and offered a great breakfast buffet. Not very close to the port if you are considering staying here before a cruise. Definitely a nice hotel, but there are many hotels closer to the beach and the cruise port.

I had a good time! It was my wife's anniversary & we stayed there. We ordered food from downstairs, we both had burgers, did the job lol! The next morning I lost my toothbrush, called down & Bria hooked me up. She also gave me a card stating I should leave a review here, so that's what I'm doing. Anyways, I had a good time.

Room Tip: 15th floor & up have a concierge suite that's pretty nice...

Hotel was nice and clean. Room was nice, very clean, and HD TV worked. Dining room was dark, sparcely furnished and cold. Breakfast buffet cost $12. We stayed here overnight before a cruise, but it's not really near the cruise port - I think there are many hotels closer.

The Hotel was beautiful, nice, clean, inviting and we found an awesome deal online for a one night booking the last week in December 2011. The rooms were nicely decorated, upgraded and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of space and good light along with flat screen TV's.
Would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Our family joined us for a night there when we were attending a wedding in the Ft. Lauderdale area at a Downtown Hotel.

We booked this hotel for a one night stay mainly because of the great price. We were a little worried about all the poor reviews but in the end there wasn't anything to be worried about. The hotel is directly across from a nature area with a raised boardwalk that is great for walking. The hotel itself is neat and clean. The rooms was a fair size and I don't understand what everyone is complaining about.
