“Great way to experience 4th July Fireworks”
Review of J C Cruises

Booked the 4th July Fireworks Dinner Cruise over the internet from the UK. No problems at all, Cindy was really helpful emailing details etc and we were able to pick up our tickets when we boarded.

The staff were polite and helpful on board and the food was very good, we enjoyed beef, chicken, mash and vegetables and caesar salad. Plenty of it too.

The fireworks display was amazing, lasted about 25 minutes.

A great way to join in with the American tradition of celebrating 4th July and would certainly use again when we are next in Florida.

My family and i went on Christmas day. Had a great time, boat was nice and clean, crew was very friendly and helpful. The Christmas buffet lunch was very good ,lots of food tasted great. The weather was great and the A/C was working fine. Drink prices at bar very reasonable. Have been many times (with diff. company visiting )on several diff. cruises ,we always have a very nice time. We always recommend the Capt. J.P. Paddlewheeler to many of our friends. It is a family owned and operated business and every time we sail with them they make us feel right at home. J.C. Cruises keep up the great work. Will be back soon, have more company comming in Feb.

Hubby and I took this cruise in the middle of a HOT Florida summer (that's redundant), but the website said the boat was air conditioned. Well, there was an a/c system, but it was weak AND they turned it OFF for half of the cruise! I was sweating in my tank top and shorts! As we boarded, we were crammed like sardines as they told us where to sit. (Why couldn't we sit where we wanted?) There was a wedding party onboard, which for some reason did not have a deck to themselves, so we were forced to attend a wedding. Although it sounds picturesque to cruise down the Caloosahatchee, the views are pretty mediocre if you--like us--have been on boats and kayaks many times. The one bright spot was the buffet. The food was good and plentiful. Not a huge variety, but about what we expected for the price of the cruise. But even the buffet was marred by two things: 1) they ran out of ice for the iced water (remember, this is summer with no a/c); and 2) they ran out of iced tea and wouldn't make more. It was clearly a ploy to force people to buy soft drinks from the cash bar. It wasn't the Cruise from Hell, but I'm just glad we didn't drive far to take part in it, and I'm especially glad we didn't choose this cruise for our wedding party!
