We have attended many productions in this quaint, comfortable little theater. The plays are at all times top notch and the actors are superb. Try to make at least one play while you are here. Parking is easy and have dinner in town before ... or after.

We have attended the Florida Rep in the Arcade theatre in downtown Fort Myers many times. Attended Clybourne Park today. Great acting as always. The most comfortable and lovely theatre in Fort Myers or Naples. They now serve mixed drinks, wine, beer, etc. before and at intermission. Parking is very convenient as it is across the street in a lot designated for play patrons. Worth the visit as downtown Fort Myers is so charming.

This November we paid our second visit to the Florida Repertory Company at its home in the Historic Arcade Theatre in Fort Myers. Our last visit, on holiday a year or so ago, was to see an Alan Ayckbourn performed with real gusto and genuine feeling for this quintessentially British play. It was really great to see English characters through the eyes of Americans, and the accents were just a hoot, sound caricatures that the actors undoubtedly worked for and achieved.
This year we were delighted to see Andrew Bergman's Social Security. The acting was every bit as good as we'd come to hope and expect from our last visit, and the play was presented with energy and no shortage of talent and enthusiasm from a great cast.
We hope to visit Florida again in the not-too-distant future, and I can only hope that our visit coincides with another wonderful Florida Rep production.
