“OK - But nothing great”

My wife and I played here in early Feb and were paired with a nice couple from Canada. A good time was had by all. The course conditions were average and nothing really stood out. The staff was reasonably friendly so no complaints there. I've played private, resort, and municipal courses over many years and I'd equate this experience with a mid level municipal course. Reasonable fairways and greens but bunkers left a lot to be desired. I realize it's February in South Florida, but the greens fees seem a little high for the quality of the experience.

My husband and I played this course at the end of July. The staff was extremely friendly. You need to sign up for the email club (no fee for this). We got a rate of $22 per person w/cart, plus tax. We enjoyed the course. I lost a few balls in the water. :) They had arrorated the greens the morning we played, but they let us know when we called for our tee time and we decided to play anyway. It was very hot, but there is some shade on the course. We had a crow that wanted to steal my bandanna so watch your cart. HA!

Really enjoyed this course, nice course and well maintained. Provides enough challenge, yet not unmanageable

Eagle Ridge is a challenging, but fair golf course. There is water on every hole after the first, but a good shot will get the job done every time.
My group played from the back tees, which made the course a bit long for a short hitter like me. Luckily we played a scramble, so there were others in my group who could put the ball out there a ways.
All the water provided great scenery and lots of wildlife. We saw turtles and an alligator, which, apparently, is the course pet.
I would absolutely recommend Eagle Ridge for anyone vacationing to Fort Myers looking for a challenging, but fun course.
