Incredible food. I'm not Italian. Italian food is my favorite style. Every time I eat there, I feel like someone's momma makes the food for me!!

“Great Italian!”

I love the Chicken Francese! Awesome Italian dressing. Garlic rolls are buttery and super tasty. They deliver too which is awesome on those lazy nights. Great prices, huge portions!

“Damn good”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

Well....I'm not going to sit here and critique the way the food is made or presented, if it doesnt have enough sauce ASK for more sauce. Too much cheese? Pull some off.

This is a great place with good sevrice and great food. The Bartender is a sweet a New Jersey Girl...she is fun and can take what you give.....but expect it back. The restaurant part is clean and neat, cool and well blocked from the sun beating you in face.

The pizza is awesome if you like the thin crust...thats what I had because I like thin crust. If youre going to use tripadvisor as a conduit for you becoming some kind of food critic be sensible and open minded....and ask yourself......if YOUR cooking is so good....why are you going out to eat?

“Great Pizza and Pasta!”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Located in the Ace Hardware Plaza, between the Ace and the scrounge lounge, is Nino's Italian Restaurant, right in the heart of downtown San Carlos Park.

We go there off and on, but not nearly as often as we should, and on last night's visit we were surprised to see that they had expanded the restaurant! You walk in now and see a gorgeous full liquor bar, dark woods and mirrors, going ¾'s of the way down on the left, booths on the right, and to the right of the booth's is the old restaurant. They did a fine job with the renovation.

Service was prompt and efficient, our server taking time to sit down with us and chat.

We both started off with a cup of fantastic Pasta Fagioli and a basket of garlic knots. The Pasta Fagioli was just as I like it....full of beans, pasta, tomatoes and chunks of beef.

The garlic knots were 'ok', but a little too 'wet' for my taste

The wife opted for her standard Baked Ziti and gave it two thumbs up and of course, she could only eat about 1/3 of it!

I ordered the Rigatoni ala Vodka with a side of meatballs. The dish was loaded with peas, mushrooms and chunks of Prosciutto. The creamy vodka sauce was excellent.

We both brought home enough for another meal. If you haven't discovered Nino's yet, do yourself a favor and just go! You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for visiting us from South Carolina! We're glad that you enjoyed our pizza and the friendliness of our staff. Our restaurant is a very busy place, sometimes with a line out the door. Therefore, it can get a bit noisy from time to time. We love all of our guests and thank you for coming by.
