Turn off the preseason baseball and the guitarist/singer (if nothing else, turn it down), this is the Elite 8. There was some very pleasant staff from Ohio but our waitress didn't want to be there. If we wanted something to drink, we needed to waive her down as she rarely stopped by the table. Other tables appeared to have attentive wait staff. Prices were OK and food was pretty good especially the cheese dip and salsa w nachos.

We went there for supper the other night, the Chicken Wings where so small you would have to eat at least 20 or more to fill you up. The service was not the best also. I guess there has been a change in management or owners, but ever since that happened the place is going bad. I will not be going back.

We first heard about this place while at the baseball game at Hammond Stadium. It sounded like a fun place and it truly was. We did not eat here but enjoyed the friendly patrons and the very nice staff. Alex, our server was great! The drink specials are the best around! Cold beer and good mixed drinks. The food that was being served looked great so we will definitely be back for a meal.

If you're looking for a pure sports bar without much else, Stevie Tomato's more than meets your need. If you want great food too, this probably isn't your best choice, despite good efforts. I was staying next door at the SpringHill Suites, an easy 75 yard walk to Stevie Tomato's. Very nice choice of beers, both draft and bottled. I ordered Lobster Tacos, and wondered why the order took pretty long to serve. Voila! The lobster part came "in shell" (you literally have to remove the lobster meat from the tail) after being steamed and buttered. Since clearly it is frozen lobster tail, the meat was kind of tough, but when added to the taco accompaniments, was reasonably tasty.

So, if you want to watch a variety of sports programs, enjoy good beer and so-so food, this is a good bet.

Great location, right next to our hotel. I'm a big Redsox fan, and it's a Redsox hangout. Food was good. Great bar atmosphere!
