We stayed in room #6 for three nights in early April. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The courtyard area is perfect, and I spent as much time as possible out there just reading and relaxing. We had so many things planned to do that we didn't get to spend nearly enough time lounging around and getting to know Tree and Dan and the other guests, but will definitely do that next time. I was a bit concerned about the distance to the beach, as Google Maps makes it look further than it really is, but it is super close and we never had a problem crossing the street.

Room 6 had two bedrooms .. one of them had a queen and a full size, and the other had a queen. The Inn is right next door to "the Heavenly Biscuit" so if you want a bigger heavier fattier breakfast than what is served at Mango, that's probably your best bet. But I thought the breakfasts were great .. nice and light and healthy. Hit the spot, as did the entire experience. Highly recommended.

The Mango Street Inn is a unique bed and breakfast. The space is actually small apartments that are tastefully furnished and welcoming. Every apartment has a small kitchen which is a must at the beach. There is plenty of outdoor space on a deck in the center of the apartments. There are tables set up for the delicious breakfast in the common area. There are also very comfortable chairs and sofas to relax with a good book. This bed and breakfast is similar to having a cottage at the beach but a gourmet breakfast is provided. What could be better? The inn keepers Tree and Dan are helpful and friendly. They are also very familiar with the area and will help with dinner plans, boat rides, or any other activity you may wish to pursue. It is a fabulous location so you can park your car and either walk or borrow one of their bikes to get any place you desire. If you are looking for relaxation and fun, I highly recommend a stay at this inn.

We recently stayed at the Mango Street Inn and had a great time. It's not your traditional B&B, but more like small apartment units with everything you need. Innkeepers, Dan & Tree really help make this a special place to visit because of their warm hospitality. Dan's morning breakfast under the pergola are more like a gourmet breakfast that you will not find anywhere else on the island. Bicycles are also included in the room rate and we used them every day for as long as we wanted. It was so much easier to get around to the many restaurants and shopping this way. And, don't forget to try a Mango Margaraita, yum! The beach is directly across the street and you are provided with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and even a wagon to take it all along with you.

Take along a book and pick a comfy chair to sit in the sun, or under the shade near the water fountain on the deck.

Charming & delightful & fun! Fabulous breakfast prepared by Dan, Chef extraordinaire, under pergola w/tasty temptations. Tree is a plethora of knowledge for local eateries plus Captiva & Sanibel. A special slice of heaven where your pace can be determined by your pleasure. Short walk to the beach!
